Sat outside on a beautiful sunny day in the centre of Cardiff Castle. I have a mobility scooter and staff were so helpful. Lovely and friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and refreshment ideal. A must see stop if you want something special in the city centre.

Anyway called there today and easily got a table foe a late breakfast which sort of suggests a firm booking would have been good. Off my soap box, this is... More

Wonderful afternoon tea at Pettigrew tea rooms for a friend's baby shower. Fabulous sandwiches, scones and to die for cakes. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this. Thank you.

I love this place. The cakes here are out of this world. It's a proper tea room, with fantastic excellent quality home made cakes. The surroundings are beautiful. I place to visit when in Cardiff.

Took my sister here as a thank you treat. We both had the Welsh Cream Tea - a warm scone with jam and clotted cream, slice of bara brith and choice of drink (£6.45). Served in pretty mismatched china. Lavender Earl Grey was lovely. Is the sort of place that would be lovely to take visiting parents or guests to... More

Just returned from having tea at Pettigrew. There were 18 of us and we had pre booked. We were delighted with the food which was so filling and beautiful. Lots of us were unable to fit in the cake so some went home with a goodie bag of delicious cake. The service was excellent the delightful young man who served... More

Cake so good it made a pregnant woman cry. Highly recommended. Wonderful on a sunny day, just as wonderful one cold day. Love this place.

We'd heard lots of good things about Pettigrew's Welsh Breakfasts so perhaps our expectations were a little too high. It's a nice place & the staff are very friendly. A couple of things were a bit disappointing though: Dirty cutlery (I had to ask twice before it was replaced). A mixed up order (so 2 of us had to wait... More
