This restaurant is tucked away in a poor street near the Principality Stadium under the shadows of an NCP Car Park. Despite the drawbacks of is situation this little restaurant provided both of us with a sensational meal. My partner is vegetarian and didn't fancy any of the main menu choices so the chef came and asked what she might... More

My wife and Invisitéd Cardiff for the first time. We went for lunch, and were greeted with a glass of proseco as we sat down. The food was good italian food. The service was very friendly, and the waiter recommended to take the Aquabus and we loved it.

I went for a date night with my partner. We were greeted with prosecco on arrival and shown to our table. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming! The food was beautiful! I had steak for main which was cooked to perfection. We really couldn't fault it. The atmosphere in the restaurant really made the evening.

We are fairly regular visitors to Cardiff but this was our first visit to Casanova and we were not disappointed. We have got rather fed up with the many chains that now seem to pervade our city centres and so it was great to experience some really good quality authentic Italian food. As many have said before on arrival you... More

The manager here was charming and gave us a lovely welcome, also honouring £60 worth of gift vouchers that we realised at the last minute were 6 months out of date! Small glasses of prosecco and limoncello are given at the start and end of the meal, on the house. Very nice. We did notice that another table of obviously... More

Really impressive food and kitchen. One of the best in Wales, probably the best in Cardiff. They are listed also on Michelin. Incredible quality and rich portion. To try absolutely!

Being greated with pleasure and joy is so rare when eating out, that this alone makes Casanovas worth visiting. The menu was limited but all the better for not being overwhelming. The chef came to tell us about some additional choices and on hearing us say we would chooses two and share promptly offered to make our starters with a... More

Authentic Italian restaurant with excellent food and at a reasonable price. Set menu is not that expansive but actually found that helpful to choose the right dishes. Will be back again soon!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday as we visited Cardiff for the Rod Stewart concert, so parked in the city centre for a few hours pre concert. It is close to two car parks and is situated in the main thoroughfare from stadium car park into city and various arcades. The welcome we received was brilliant and very Italian with... More

We ate here for lunch on the recomendation of friends who always eat at Casanova on their visits to Cardiff. We both had very good meals at a reasonable price from their lunchtime menu, which includes daily specials, washed down with a glass of house red. Good freshly cooked food at senisible prices - we will return!
