Beautiful food and service

My partner took me here for dinner last night and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was brilliant, I think he must have been the owner but he shook our hands and welcomed us into the restaurant. As it was cold he even bought us a hot glass of water with a serviette to keep our hands... read more

Lunch with an old friend and colleague, he chose the restaurant. From the warm welcome and glass of prosecco through a delicious starter, pulled pork and tiramasu to a bracing espresso the food was excellent. The menu was small but each course chosen was just superb. A glass of very good house red and a mix of catching up and... More

Fabulous new winter menu at the best restaurant in Cardiff! The new Mari +Monti dish is inspired and very delicious! Truffle flavoured tagliolini pasta with king prawns wild mushrooms and leek - finished with truffle butter and white wine. Great new wines too including lovely white Verdeca.

This is one of the few restaurants in Cardiff that open at 5-30 so you can have a leisurely meal before a concert at the Arena. The menu does not overwhelm you with far too many choices for each course. Four of us all had different items for mains. All perfectly cooked, very tasty and a real treat. Save yourself... More

We had heard of this restaurant on other review sites and decided to pop in for lunch during a visit to Cardiff from Bristol. Well worth the walk down the shopping streets and just opposite The Millennium stadium. A very warm welcome from the manager greeted us and we had an excellent meal. I loved the Chili black pudding starter... More

Casanova was a wonderful experience. It is a little on the expensive side, but truly worth it. It is a small restaurant, which actually makes food to order. But actually, I saw one of the chefs run out to get the right ingredients on more than one occasion. The wine selection is good and at not a bad price. The... More
