Lovely family meal. It's location, garden and grounds makes the pheasant ideal. Superbly priced and vast choice from the menu. Enjoyed the meal a lot. But there must have been lots of people of off. Resulted in us having to go to the bar ourselves. But that wasn't all. Ordered steak with peppercorn sauce. It was forgotten with meal and... More

We had a large family lunch here and managed to get a table at short notice. The menu is large and plenty of choice. The special 2 meals for £12 choices give enough options for everyone. Food was very good, as was the service.

It was a while back when I visited this restaurant and yet it's still the best ploughmans lunch I have had. The meal was served quickly and all our group -around 10 of us- got our meals together. The ploughmans that I had was wonderful. It came with a huge wedge of cheese and a French stick as well as... More

I arrived early by taxi. The inside and outside of the building was grand, cosy and peaceful. While waiting for the General to arrive I had two teas and looked at the menu. L A S A G N E! It of course had to be the vegetarian lasagne. There is a lot of choice on the menu and there... More

I wouldn't say this place is anything special, but never the less worth a visit. Prices are just slightly above average bit is reflected in the service. Very helpful staff. The table we were at was slightly cramped but did the job. Overall we were pleased:)
