We only stayed for one night but this was in a convenient location close to the centre of Wrexham, the room was clean, fairly spacious with very comfortable twin beds (as booked) but it was at the front of the hotel, close to a main road, so quite noisy. The bathroom needed some TLC, the toilet seat was loose, the... More

Arrived for a pre booked booking. No-one available to meet us on arrival. Waited more than 5 mins until someone appeared to show us to a table, although there were only a few other diners in the restaurant. Once food was ordered, food took a long time to be prepared even though it was only a light bite. (They did... More

Visited this restaurant purely for its proximity to a local event taking place. Six of us present. Two sets of parents and our recently engaged offspring. I hadn't visited this place in a long time and had nice memories of it. Thought the menu would be 'adequate' but my goodness how they've come on! The staff were very attentive, efficient... More

Having been recommended to dine at The Lemon Tree I had expected the place in itself and also the food to be of a bit higher standard than was the case. The service was impeccable and the staff deserve compliments for their service. The decor though is a bit on the dull and bland side, anonymous, which one doesn't expect... More

Went for lunch and pre-booked our order as were a table of 8 ... the food was cold and portions very small for the price... don't even get me started on dessert which eventually we cancelled after a 46minute wait.. the manager was very friendly and welcoming but being a lunch time speed is required...especially after prebooking our meals!

Visited last night with partner. Overall pretty good meal. Starters and mains lovely. Would recommend the Pork tenderloin as delicious. Atmosphere lovely, decor lovely. Desserts terrible. I ordered the tiramassu while my partner ordered peppermint cheesecake on advice of waitress, both were bizarrely watery and tasteless. Would go to Lemon tree again however skip the dessert.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Visited with a stag weekend group of six. Food was very well cooked with lots of flavour and a varied selection for all palettes.

Went for an impromptu meal on Saturday night 10/04. We had the lamb rump and pork tenderloin which I must say we're both lovely, although expensive (in my opinion) at £19 and £16 respectively given that the portions were very small. So small in fact that we immediately ordered a side dish when our meals arrived. We are not big... More
