We stayed in the hotel for a week and were never disappointed with the food other than that they only did the king prawn and chorizo risotto just the once. If you are there and it is on the menu, have it!! But don't order starters as it is amazingly rich and you will not be able to eat much... More

Had a lovely meal again in the Waterloo hotel. Well cooked fast service and plenty on your plate, just what you need after a day in the hills. We will definitely be back.

Popped in for evening meal and was very pleased we did. We both had starters - pate and shredded duck, both very good. For mains we had Hake and the steak and ale pie, both agreed were excellent! Staff nice and friendly - worth a visit.

It was my first visit, for a family Sunday dinner with my new mother in law. The staff were very friendly, polite, the restaurant was bright and airy thanks to a large conservatory making the most of the sunlight, even though it was heavy drizzle and cloud outside. There was a mix of customers, locals, tourists, couples and families. We... More

We had dinner and breakfast here for four nights. The dinner menu was changed every day, there was a good selection of interesting dishes and by the time we had eaten the three courses we were loosening our belts. The breakfast was buffet style with all the usual choices. The sausages were excellent!

We had a lovely meal at the Bridge Restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the food and local ales (which I enjoyed immensely). We did not have room for pudding but will certainly be coming again.

Looking for an evening meal for two we accepted a recommendation to try The Bridge Restaurant in the Waterloo Hotel. I think eating should be as much an emotional experience as a tasteful one. The first impression of this restaurant was one of modern style. A large room, clean cut lines and an interesting decorative effect from a wall of... More

Visited as a party of 18, having walked from a nearby hotel. Airy and spacious with friendly staff. Food was served quickly (we'd pre-ordered that afternoon) but I was disappointed with my fish and chips. The batter was soggy, the tartar looked like it had been chilled in the pot for a few hours and the chips were average. A... More

Visited here whilst at waterloo hotel, the establishment was very clean, staff was very friendly and the bar was cosy and reasonably priced. Several places to park. Was a very enjoyable experience!
