We walked here using the road and coastal path, detour due to high tides, which also meant half the car park was underwater. Lovely roaring fires , food was served quickly I recommend the seafood chowder, will very happily return

The dog friendly area is any time (I'm pretty sure). But my advice is to leave the dog at home, as this area is a bit sparse and does not compare to the main room.

No, they serve food until 2:30 and are totally inflexible. If you arrive at 2:25 you'll have five minutes to order. Go to the boat house around the corner.
