Great tasty food. Excellent sandwiches and hot food. Fish dishes particularly good and always a catch of the day Lovely situation looking out over the bay. Friendly pleasant staff who are eager to please.

We walked to this pub along the beach from Benllech. It was warm and cosy inside the snug with a log fire blazing away. We had drinks on this occasion but returned later for food. A lovely view across the bay. There is a family room for children under 12 as well as the snug and other rooms. Very welcoming..

Catch of the Day was fresh and delicious with perfectly-cooked vege. But the view over the bay from the outdoor table was very distracting! Prices fair (full menu, vege options+ and sandwiches too so something for all appetites and purses). Service excellent. Ladies loo accessible and pleasant. Dog-and-child-friendly in a quiet spot, this Inn is magical.

The staff here are extremely polite and it is a pleasure to go here. They have a range of local styled food and it is first class. In good weather you can sit outside on the many tables provided. There are views across Red Wharfe Bay to Llandonna.

Beautiful location on Red Wharf Bay. We were lucky enough to visit on a sunny day and sat outside to take in the stunning views. There was an extensive menu with a heavy bias towards fish. I had the lemon sole fillet and it was delicious. The staff were really friendly and the customer service was excellent. This place gets... More

We booked a table for dinner on Sunday night. The place was packed, three deep at the bar but ,on request, were seated in an adjacent bar which was quieter. The beer was good, the food better. Service was good considering the crowded bars. Interesting menu with fair prices, easy access and easy parking. In the height of the season... More

Warm and welcoming on the edge of the beautiful Red Wharf Bay. Mostly fishy dishes, but also offering steaks, cottage pie etc. We went for the fishy things and the smoked haddock with mash and cheese was fabulous. The chowder was also most satisfying. Lovely real ales but not cheap enough for a boozing session.

As youngsters in the 1970's we had a few drinks outside the Ship Inn and it was always on our go to list. We enjoyed our meal in a traditional pub environment in a great location. The staff were very friendly and our bucket list has another good tick.

I had seen this restaurant on another trip and made an effort to eat there this time. What a disappointment. After waiting 45 minutes for our lunch the £11.95 steak and onion sandwich with chips was delivered. The chips were hard and seem to be the last in the fryer, silly of me to think that the bread they would... More
