The staff are really friendly. Good is excellent. You have to book. That tells you all. Their in house cask ale looks like Guinness. Definitely worth a try

The dog friendly area is any time (I'm pretty sure). But my advice is to leave the dog at home, as this area is a bit sparse and does not compare to the main room.

No, they serve food until 2:30 and are totally inflexible. If you arrive at 2:25 you'll have five minutes to order. Go to the boat house around the corner.
