To eat in or take away to eat on the Quayside (watch out for seagulls). Everything freshly cooked. Proper size fish not a triangular shaped one. Excellent tasting chips and lightly battered fish. What more could a man ask for?

We have been to a lot of different chip shops around the uk (and abroad) and none compare to these crispy, tasty wonders. Have to be tasted to be believed. The quality is also always there - we live a few hours away so only come a few times a year but over the years, every single visit is fantastic.

A hearty fish supper at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and efficient. Would have preferred the skin in my haddock but as that was my only gripe then I can't complain. The mushy peas were good too!

We had limited time in Conwy yesterday, however being beside the sea,I fancied some fish and chips before we headed back home. Unfortunately my boyfriend cannot have gluten, which often makes eating out difficult and limits meal options, and initially we were disappointed and almost left when we realised they didn't serve any of the usual option that he goes for. However on... More

We were visiting Conwy Castle and came across Fisherman’s whilst looking for somewhere for lunch, always a bit of trepidation with fish and chips as sadly nowadays they can be more 'miss' than 'hit', but thank god someone is doing them well and they definitely are at Fisherman’s. Very friendly welcome by everyone, we sat in the restaurant downstairs, the... More

A second visit - last one October for a takeaway, which I rated very good , this time eating in . Great reception from staff to whom I'm any other punter on a cold wet day - "sit where you want" - "of course you can go upstairs" ( even though the place was not full and many establishments would... Had a take away chips and really taste good even though I had it after some time. Worth the long long queue.

Simply the best fish and chips, crunchy batter, amazing chips and the staff are so incredibly friendly. I was perhaps slightly concerned at how many times I had been when I was given a loyalty discount card, but that just goes to show how amazing it is. 10/10 - whenever I am passing Conwy, I will always be a customer.
