Popped in last night to have the slow roast lamb shoulder so happy I did sautéed spuds and veggies were great the lamb was the star. For the we record we do eat here quite often and have yet to have a poor experience, the...lamb shoulder or pigs cheeks are so good I mean so good there’s nothing else to sayMore

We agreed we’d had the best Sunday lunch in a very long time here. Beautifully cooked, extremely tasty. Add to that welcoming staff, a warm fire and some great walks nearby. Will definitely be back & recommend to family & friends.

Well, after seeing the reviews on this place we had to visit and see what the fuss was about. Pleased to say we weren’t disappointed! Lovely little pub and we had a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Even though we arrived early a...young boy was happy to accommodate us to our table straight away. Our hostess Nicola was attentive and friendly. She made us feel really comfortable and relaxed. She even took time to chat when she had a spare minute. Large portions of food of what I can only describe as absolutely scrumdiddly!!!! We thought the meals were outstanding! Compliments to the chef!!! We will defo be calling in again and I’ve already been telling all my friends about the place!More

This place is outstanding!! We visited for an evening meal while in the local area with our two dogs. The staff were super friendly and really accommodating, the customer service was faultless (for us and our dogs) I can not put into words how amazing...the food was! It was truly incredible….we will definitely be returning, I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.More

Now this is out of the way - a Mike up a narrow lane but it’s well worth the drive. The atmosphere is welcoming , warm and friendly, the food is delicious. I wish to go back to try many other dishes. Their burger is...wonderful, full of flavour in a tasty bun, lots of toppings with properly tripled cooked chips - not the pretend version. The pasta was excellent as was the steak pie. Dessert - salted chocolate tart was a delight. Go here - maybe have the tapas - it’s fantastic.More

I am struggling to find words to describe how amazing this pub is. I had a burger which I have to say was absolutely stunning, both in presentation and taste. On top of that the restaurant was super cozy and the bar was very friendly....At 8pm a guitarist came in and played for at least an hour and he was lovely and so talented. The locals all made me feel welcome and it was such a lovely atmosphere. The service was spot on and I didn’t have to ask for anything . I have to give a very special mention to one of the bar staff, Nicola. Nicola made us feel at home and was very funny and kept us toped up with drinks. I would recommend The Jolly Colliers to everyone. Thank you for a great evening. 😁👏More

My husband and I have just left this pub tonight after a wonderful meal. We had prawns, chorizo and Sherry and whitebait for starters and the blue cheese burgers for mains. All of the food was outstanding and the locally produced beer was unreal for...£3.50 a pint! Spanish guy who served us (sorry didn’t get his name) was so lovely and took time out to chat with us and advise us on places to go. We would highly recommend this place.More
