Stopped for a bite to eat and literally just had the most beautiful homemade smoked haddock and spring onion fishcake with homemade chips, lovely food, friendly service, beautiful little 17th century building, can thoroughly recommend it.

This olde worldy pub restaurant has rustic charm and genuine warmth from the owners and staff, so worth a visit if only for a drink. We have eaten in the restaurant upstairs on a few occasions and the food is excellent. The menu offers a good choice of meals which are reasonably priced and very enjoyable. I can certainly recommend... More

My wife and I called into the Tynllidiart Arms for a light lunch last week and had a very friendly reception. We had drinks while we looked at the menu which was quite varied. The food and service was very good, we had the fishcakes and chips. T he fishcakes were very tasty and the chips were excellent home made... More

We found this absolute gem of a pub purely by accident and were very pleased we did. After a long day out with the familial you we were made to feel instantly welcome by the wonderful staff who settled us down with drinks and menus in the bar. The menu had plenty of choice but was small enough to know... More

Visited here with family during a break in Aberystwyth. After reading the outstanding reviews on trip advisor i really looked forward to the visit. The pub was beautiful with traditional features, a small place with only a few tables, but for a Thursday evening it was fully booked - which showed its popularity. The staff where welcoming and the manager... More

Excellent Home cooked food, great service and both children and dog were welcomed. We would recommend special pie night on Tuesdays and the eaton mess 😄😄

Went for dinner in friends after the restaurant was recommended. We were told that it had the smallest micro brewery in Wales! But the brewer had retired so it no longer operated. However the food more than made up for this. Lovely lamb, steak and pies! Highly recommended.

Visited here on spec on Sunday lunchtime. We hadn't booked but found a table in the bar area. My companion was not really hungry, so had a starter of stuffed mushrooms whilst I had a main course of belly pork with black pudding, mash and apple jus. The meal was delicious and as the pub also boasts the smallest brewery... More

Belly pork was very nice, partners chicken was even nicer, huge portions. The photo was without vegetables which was cauliflower cheese, cabbage and carrots, gravy was so good. Starters all amazing, great find definitely going back and very well priced
