Tried this place once on our little getaway, and loved it so much we went back 2 days later. Food is fantastic, well presented, and reasonably priced. The selection of Ale's was great as well. Staff were very friendly and food came out quickly. Can't recommend this little gem enough!

Had Sunday lunch at Y Ffarmers which was very good and good value. 3 courses for 4 people plus drinks (beer/ coke etc) came to only just over £100. Delicious food well cooked and sourced, much very local. High praise to roast beef, lamb and apple pie. Good service and a lovely old building: what's not to like?

Visit once or twice a year for lunch with relatives - wonderful food in a peaceful village location. Local foods cooked and presented to a very high standard. Sunday lunches in particular are excellent.

We went along for a three course meal on a Thursday evening. It was all superb. The ambience, service, amd food! I had the pie for my main, and it was great to see a real pie appears instead of these pretend pies of stew with a pastry top, that is so often served up by pretentious restaurants. The desert... Decided to try this place last week as we had heard good reviews about e quality of food etc on TripAdvisor. Our table was booked for 6pm for which we arrived at 615 due to the fact that some of the roads on way here were really narrow meaning that if there was something coming the other way one would... We've eaten here before, and the menu always has loads of great choices. Friends had said the steak was good so I thought I'd go for it. I wasn't disappointed. Best steak I've had in a long long time! I loved the chips too. The rest of my table were all very happy with both their mains and deserts. The... More
