Good service and food. I had enjoyed the food served here. There are a range of choices and one should consider asking the waitress for recommendation.

Very good food, well above standard quality pub grub. Quaint little place with a cottage industry feel to it, great staff. Definitely recommend a visit.

Nestled in a small village with an unimposing frontage its hard to imagine what you will find inside, and what a treat. From the warm reception, to the choice of ales and an expansive menu selection Y Ffarmers really is worth the detour. Whilst we dined at lunchtime I can well imagine the evening trade to be strong and would... More

What a lovely little gem hidden away! We've heard amazing things about this little pub so we decided to try it for ourselves. Booking is necessary which is always a good sign. From the time we walked in 'till the time we left, we were so impressed. The menu is lovely with lots of choice for everyone. The service is... More

We didn't feel like cooking after pitching our tent so came here on the recommendation of the campsite. The food was lovely but maybe a bit on the pricey side. They do a kids eat free deal before 6.30 which made it more affordable. If you are in the area I'd definitely recommend eating here though.

My Husband and I enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, staff lovely and beautiful location. The only reason we found this was through trip advisor so very important to review them. I must recommend the brownie and ice cream if you have a sweet tooth like me!

A delight, nestled in a beautiful little village. Very very good food and super friendly staff. Kids menu was also excellent (not your standard fish fingers and chips). Food was not over fussy, just lovely fresh interesting meals. My only criticisms (and it's more of a suggestions) would be to up the ante on the wine list, I'm pretty sure... More

This is the first time we have been back here in over a year, which is a shame seeing as we live so close (about 2 miles). It was excellent and just seems to get better each time we go. The place was just about full for Sunday lunches and everyone seemed to be enjoying every morsel. Our table of... More

Visited Saturday lunchtime, nice atmosphere in the pub. Had a pint of real ale and wife had a white wine - both good. The food was very good and menu seemed to have a decent range of meat/fish dishes. Highly recommended.

We had a family (with dogs) lunch at Y Ffarmers to celebrate a birthday. It's such a friendly and beautiful place and the food, much of it local, is excellent. The village is lovely and there are great walks not far away. We went to the Forestry Commission's Black Covert car park for a walk in the afternoon. Very highly... More
