We have a heartache to have to say that the Ffarmers suffered a severe fire on Saturday, January 27th. No one was hurt, thank you, but the damage to the building was very serious. We have now started replacing this beautiful pub. The work will take many months, but we will be back in the Autumn, better than ever.

We discovered the best way to enjoy the wonderful Ffarmers' experience while it is being rebuilt is to invite Caitlin and Ben to cook in our home. Wow - a superb meal last night with rolled pork belly or salmon, followed by deconstructed cheesecake...... and...More

Ten of us stopped here for lunch. Both the food and service were excellent. Only disappointed was we didn't have more time to try desert and have few more drinks. Not the easiest place to find done some very small lanes but worth the effort.
In this hamlet (Popn 1400) there is an excellent gastropub that serves high quality, freshly prepared interesting fare. Friendly owner and chef provided the perfect service. Definitely recommended for an interesting visit amongst seclusive countryside.

We started with a choice of 20 different Gins, all very exotic, and then chose the perfectly cooked...More
