My Husband and I enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, staff lovely and beautiful location. The only reason we found this was through trip advisor so very important to review them. I must recommend the brownie and ice cream if you have a sweet tooth like me!

A delight, nestled in a beautiful little village. Very very good food and super friendly staff. Kids menu was also excellent (not your standard fish fingers and chips). Food was not over fussy, just lovely fresh interesting meals. My only criticisms (and it's more of a suggestions) would be to up the ante on the wine list, I'm pretty sure... More

This is the first time we have been back here in over a year, which is a shame seeing as we live so close (about 2 miles). It was excellent and just seems to get better each time we go. The place was just about full for Sunday lunches and everyone seemed to be enjoying every morsel. Our table of... More

Visited Saturday lunchtime, nice atmosphere in the pub. Had a pint of real ale and wife had a white wine - both good. The food was very good and menu seemed to have a decent range of meat/fish dishes. Highly recommended.

We had a family (with dogs) lunch at Y Ffarmers to celebrate a birthday. It's such a friendly and beautiful place and the food, much of it local, is excellent. The village is lovely and there are great walks not far away. We went to the Forestry Commission's Black Covert car park for a walk in the afternoon. Very highly... More

This beautiful country pub is a real gem of a place to eat. It's situated only 7 or 8 miles outside of Aberystwyth, set in stunning little rural village. The staff are incredibly friendly, they offered to bring our 18month old sons food out first, they spotted he was becoming restless! The food was out of this world, everything was... More

Been on several occasions now, and never disappointed. food is consistently good. The road out to the lovely little village, can be a bit hair raising at times, but it is well worth it. Lovely old character village and the Ffarmers has a lovely ambiance.

We had a lovely mid-week meal here as a family of four (children age 12 & 10). We booked a table as it can get busy. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff very nice and friendly. I ordered a steak and asked for it to have extra salad instead of chips. I expected just more salad leaves but the... More

My kind of pub. Out of the way in a small, quite, picturesque village. Very welcoming and friendly place, locally sourced food.

We rang up last minute after finding it here and they were happy to accommodate a family of 5 with young kids arriving after 8pm on a Friday night. Well worth the short drive, getting there a non issue, doesn't everyone have Google maps? Food was absolutely divine, I am still savouring the after taste! Great veggie options too, the... More
