That's it really. Looked at the reviews and went about 6 o'clock on Sunday evening. We hadn't booked but were made very welcome. I would recommend booking though as I think we got the only spare table. Excellent service and delicious food. What more can...More

We booked a few weeks ago over the phone. Really good to be told that they didn't take cards and that you need to bring your own drinks. On arrival we were quickly welcomed and shown a table and offered a corkscrew for the wine....More

I was visiting Whales with a few friends, and this restaurant was a delight. We were hosted by a fantastic waiter, he recommended a good glass of red wine, and the Lamb Tagine was amongst the best I've tasted. What finished the entire meal, was...More

Informal setting makes for a relaxed evening and bring your own wine keeps costs down. Tasty food but menu has not changed for years. The salad and rice side dishes become monotonous if you make frequent visits but pleasant as a one off.More

Thank you very much for your kind review and genuine comment, The only reason we stick to our menu and our formula is because we find that it is simple, healthy and works for us. We do not pretend to be a five star Michelin...More

A real favourite, that consistently delivers. Arrived Saturday evening having not booked. A mistake - but accommodated with service going the extra mile. So to the menu. The set offer was tempting as ever. Wife plumped for chicken tagine and I went off piste with...More

Le Casablanca has great, homemade fresh mediterranean cuisine which has never disappointed us in the years we have had meals there. We have have lovely, tasty, and unfussy North African couscous there, as well as Tagines, lovely vegetarian meals as well. You can bring your own wine, so this also makes the evening quite reasonably priced. Jo, the owner and chef, is always attentive to details and makes sure you are happy and having a good time. This personal touch adds to the homely, relaxed atmosphere which has made us go back again and again over the years. You'll eat very well, you'll be welcome, and you will feel that you've had a relaxing time with friendly people around you! Highly recommended.
