What a find! This is a diamond in the rough... looks like a little country pub where you just expect old men drinking. It is not! Amazing service and the food.... well talk about 5 star! It was amazing.... would eat here every night of the week! Do try!

Amazing food, the tiger prawns are incredible (we had some more for dessert). Great beers on tap too. The staff and locals are VERY friendly and welcoming. Definitely check out this pub!

We are staying in aberystwith for the week and searched for somewhere to go for dinber- what a find!! Gorgeous home made food, superb presentation, cracking service- wonderfully friendly, hospitable and fun. Fantastic locals where so welcoming-taught us some welsh, chatted easily and even bought our two boys (2 and 13) a chocolate bar each! Clean, tidy, wood burners alight... More

Drove past here a few times and didn't look inviting but decided to pop in for a drink. The pub is full of charm as are the locals in there, they made us extremely welcome and a little local called Ray paid us a drink on for the evening! (Adorable guy). We decided to book in for an evening meal... More

We called in here for dinner , We had booked ahead due to the knowledge that dog friendly tables were limited , On arrival there was a birthday get together of local people all having a good catch up and the atmosphere was good , The dog friendly tables are at the bar as you enter the pub , lots... We needed somewhere for lunch that was dog friendly, ideally inside as the weather was a bit cooler,i can only say that the food was fantastic, the service just right asking if the food was ok & drink replenishment, sadly I was driving so no chance to try the beers they have so many awards for, certainly worth a visit

Stopped here for lunch on the way to see the Red Kites at that unpronouncable place! What a lovely, quirky pub! We had their lunch deal which was excellent vlaue and really well cooked and tasty, so much better than the offerings in a typical chain pub. Staff were friendly too.....highly recommended.
