We called in here for dinner , We had booked ahead due to the knowledge that dog friendly tables were limited , On arrival there was a birthday get together of local people all having a good catch up and the atmosphere was good , The dog friendly tables are at the bar as you enter the pub , lots... We needed somewhere for lunch that was dog friendly, ideally inside as the weather was a bit cooler,i can only say that the food was fantastic, the service just right asking if the food was ok & drink replenishment, sadly I was driving so no chance to try the beers they have so many awards for, certainly worth a visit

Stopped here for lunch on the way to see the Red Kites at that unpronouncable place! What a lovely, quirky pub! We had their lunch deal which was excellent vlaue and really well cooked and tasty, so much better than the offerings in a typical chain pub. Staff were friendly too.....highly recommended.

Now, if I’m honest, this is the kind of pub I would drive past and think it looked a bit dodgy, couldn’t be more wrong. Stopped off for lunch in this traditional Welsh pub and had one of the best lunches ever. Staff were great, food was outstanding and enjoyed the chat with the other customers all in a really... Had sunday lunch early October. Pleasant inn on the main road, with parking opposite the pub. Greeted by the friendly owner/barman, who with his colleague (brother) are as mad as a box of frogs, but in a most customer effacing way. Particularly the way they sang "haapy birthday" to a very young diner, as they presented her cake, candles and... More

food was excellent, and cheap. staff were very friendly and helpful, the pub itself is very traditional and cosy, only slight downside, you can get double parked in the carpark, however staff got the car moved straight away, so no problem.overall a good experience.

If the waiter or chief there do not love their job, then they should all be actors as they are good. I am not a drinker but I can tell how well a person can pull a pint and the bartender did a good job. Nothing is rush in this place except for the waiters' eagerness to service. Food with... More

Been to this pub a couple of times for a beer or two, this time went back for Sunday lunch. It was amazing fantastic food all served with a smile and great beer. This place is a real gem of a place defiantly recommend, and dog friendly so much so we even get a doggy dinner thrown it. Brilliant place... More
