I could easily run out of superlatives. A fantastic meal served by friendly efficient staff. No quibbles whatsoever. So good we went twice. My wife wanted a Cosmopolitan cocktail but their usual bar person was not there so they googled the recipe and made a perfect Cosmo. House wines are excellent choices and the food is truly memorable especially the... More

Finding somewhere that is half way between Gloucester and Sutton Coldfield to enjoy a good meal with friends can be a struggle, mainly the good meal part. There have been some mistakes but this was not one of them. From arriving and being greeted by happy smiling staff and sitting for a pre meal drink in a well tended pretty... More

Visited early August as was staying nearby @ a caravan club site ( Herbert's which was great. Called on the off chance as it looked the business & It was in "buckets', superbly appointed inside but not OTT & a real delight to have eaten there. An impressive menu & quite different choices, although we only had burgers definitely not... More

Visited here for my husband's birthday. We had made a booking as it's always busy, and we're not disappointed. The food was superb and the staff very friendly and attentive. Carn't wait to go back.

A lovely little place in a tranquil location. We went wanting a traditional Sunday Lunch - and we were not disappointed. Good choice on all three courses, well cooked, well presented, hot when necessary, flavoursome and innovative. The atmosphere was pleasing and the areas light and airey. Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. My only negative point would be the... More

We have eaten here ten times in the past nine months. On every occasion the food has been first class. Particularly recommended are the various risottos, the sea bass, the belly of pork and the burger. The cheese board is also well sourced. Two good real ales are available and the relatively simple wine list is not overly expensive. Service... More

Dear Christopher Thank you so much for your kind review and your superb support. It was lovely that you recognised that David and I do work diligently to keep moving the business forward whilst retaining the quality and attention to detail. I do however, feel terrible that we made you feel not valued, this is certainly not our intention, we... More

Always wanted to dine here, glad we finally did on Wed 17th Aug for my birthday - a rare evening without children. Delicious melt in the mouth food. The building and decor is lovely. There seemed to be lots of books and crannies and the building winds round, revealing lots of extra spaces for seats which gives a but of... More

Our party of 4 were warmly welcomed, and we thoroughly enjoyed the service, food and wine. My crab starter was excellent, as was my main of halibut. Others enjoyed the lamb special, and pork belly. The Chilian Sauvignon Blanc was great at £14.95 a bottle. A great night, we felt really valued and looked after!!

Without doubt, some of the best food in the District, very friendly and accomodating Staff, have visited on two occasions for Evening Meal with Friends, the surroundings and seating are comfortable but the noise levels from other Diners are such that on both visits, it has been almost impossible to, without raising Our own Voices to converse, this is not... An excellent venue on a hot Summer evening. The terrace is very comfortable with great views over to the Malvern Hills. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Delicious dinner and very tasty wines. The owners were there in person ensuring that every attention to detail was covered.
