We've been to the Round of Gras now for the past 5 years whilst on holiday in the region. We always make sure we have our Sunday dinner at this pub.The food is always served hot and quickly. The staff are very friendly and ultra efficient. My wife is disabled, and they go out of their way to help in every way.An excellent pub.

This is a place we visit about once a month when we don't feel like cooking. A typical pub menu supplemented by a broad choice on the specials board and a carvery option. Good choice for vegetarians including a vegetarians specials board as well. Friendly staff. Food is really good and they have a nice beer garden as well.

We went to the Round of Gras for a meal on Wednesday as a family. We had the delicious asparagus quiche with salad and new potatoes. Having been here a few times, we regularly visit during the asparagus season, for birthdays and of course Christmas. For pudding we (Me and Mum) had local grown strawberries and cream while my sister... More

I came with a group for lunch and was so disappointed that the asparagus served was so woody it was inedible except for the tips, I was not alone in experiencing this. The manager was not at all apologetic or sympathetic when anyone complained. The chicken was dry. The asparagus soup not good. One person's order was put on someone... More

Had light lunch here of divine asparagus and smoked salmon which was fresh, well presented and served with a smile! Also very good value.

start of the asparagus season good place to visit, the food is well presented and quite tasty. The pub could do with some investment to make it worthy of re-visits, quite tired, but appears always to be doing a good trade.

Have eaten here many times and got used to the boistrous antics of the local footbball team on a number of ocassions, and tonight was another ocassion. A friendly welcome and efficient taking of orders from Grahams 'Right Hand Man'. What, "Duck on the menu, brilliant, it's ages since I've seen Duck on the menu". We waited with baited breath,... Mine and my sons were OK. My 2 year old has major food issues and is under a health visitor and we do struggle to... More

Visited Round of Gras with some friends for an evening meal. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff, good prices for drinks and meal. Two out of the four of us are glutenfree, they have their own separate menu for this and we both had glutenfree "apple crumble" which was wonderful. Will visit again. Need to book.
