Been here twice recently and opted for the carvery. There is a larger alternative for an additional £2 for which you get a larger plate a more generous portion of the meartrs and of course all the veg you want. Meat and all the veg cooked well and excellent value for money. Try in the week when it is quieter.

Visited for a sunday lunch, excellent value,3 meats to choose from, excellent selection of vegetables that were quickly replaced as they went down. Gluten free gravy and yorkshire pudding. Very friendly and helpful staff. You need to book.

Not a bad place, carvery is pretty average but decent! Pub could do with a bit of updating but on the whole a pleasant experience. Will return.

We love this place and lots of choice on the menu for people requiring gf - including desserts. Their carvery on a Sunday is always good and reasonably priced but make sure to book as it gets busy.

We have eaten at this pub on quite a few occasions in recent years. There is always a friendly welcome and good customer service. In the past the food has been excellent in terms of quality and quantity. Sadly on this occassion the food was not as good as the previous visits. Lasagne served in a bowl accompanied with just... This is our local pub and restaurant, sadly it was lacking this evening. We both chose a medium cooked sirloin steak, when it arrived it was rare. The waitress apologised and took it away leaving my vegetables on the table. Our same plates with the same steaks arrived back after five minutes, the steaks were then over done! Not wanting... We ordered from the specials- food certainly well below par for local grub. The prawns were half defrosted - and they seemed surprised that they should have been properly defrosted and dried!!!! Steak almost acceptable- chips old and warmed up. Will not return here.

Called here to have Sunday lunch, although the staff were friendly, the interior of the pub felt "tired".The Sunday lunch was Carvery style, which could have been hotter, so spoilt it for us..
