Went to this restaurant for a family meal.waited over an hour for food.unacceptable it as wasn't busy.Five other tables near us had same complaint. Chicken was like a flat piece of rubber in breadcrumbs.expected proper chicken breast. They offered us free sweets.waited 30 mins for those.Staff very rude when we asked how long these would be. We are somewhat confused & concerned by this review as a number of points do not add up.firstly,we do not & never have served breaded chicken. Furthermore to suggest that six tables complained on the same occasion is total fabrication as it has never happened. ... We have reported this review to trip advisor More

The menu here is quite varied. They advertised fresh fish but that is probably only during the peak summer season as there wasn't any 'specials' on the night. Service is very good. The restaurant is off to the side of the bar which is traditionally styled and serves some real ales. Food was well prepared and good value for money.

Visited here twice and always get lovely fresh food served with a smile (at no extra charge, unlike some other restaurants!!) The only negative is that the bathrooms are falling apart, with holes in the walls, cobwebs, spiders and moving toilet seats!

Good choice of ales and regular pub food. Tables and chairs for those of us that don't want to stand at the bar and welcoming fireplace and friendly faces. Right in Broadway on the main street but not great parking available.

service: unattentive and borderline surly food: marginal to barely edible (hockey puck chicken and couldn't bit through the bun; even the kids didn't like the cheese pizza - how do you mess that up?) atmosphere: non-existent

Visit this pub on regular occasions and it just a nice place to be. Polite staff, fresh food and comfortable surrounds with a nice log fire in the cold months

On a visit to Broadway to visit the tower I popped in here for a pint CAMRA folk will be well catered for. Good beer, decent selection and affable service Cozy feel and family friendly Limited parking available at the front but plenty further down the village on both sides of the highest street behind the shop frontage Highly recommended... Wanted a place in Broadway to watch the Rugby over the weekend. This was the only one we could find, but very happy to say that the service was excellent and the food fantastic. Quite the find!

Stayed two nights locally and saw it was not open on the one afternoon. Gave it a try for a drink second afternoon. Very nice outside and nice interior with good range of drinks. Saw a couple playing darts with electronic counter on wall so that's good if you like that sort of thing. Didn't disappoint and food menu looked... More
