The food was delicious. The waiter was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I loved the food presentation ( eatable flowers with the dessert). They got a glass floor little square in the middle of the restaurant so you can have a good view of the wine cellar downstairs. The place it's very old with simple but very... More

Almost never returned to Restaurant A la Russe (Cornucopia) in Windsor after a slight hiccup a few weeks ago, but the staff were pleased to see us again and were excellent throughout the evening (Sat 26 Nov). The place was packed with customers and the atmosphere was great. We had escargots and scallops starters, and both had fillet steaks for... More

Lovely evening, very attentive service and good food. I had the veal steak and was absolutely tasteful, cooked to perfection and with a fantastic sauce to go with, the rest of the table had fish and was really happy for the choice. Good choice of wines. We will go again.

We moved to the town four months ago and have been busy researching the local bars and restaurants. We have walked past this restaurant several times and for some reason have not gone in. Today we did and this is by far the best restaurant we have discovered in the town so far. Well executed and flavoursome French cuisine with... More

We chose this restaurant after not being able to get into Marco Pierre White. So glad we did. The service and food were superb. We were not rushed through our meal. Spent a wonderful 4 hours having a fantastic meal and drinks. A lovely touch at the end of the meal being offered a complimentary drink on the house. Would... More

Just before 6 o'clock on a chill November evening, the taxi delivered us a tad early to à la Russe (late Cornucopia) for my birthday meal. But we were greeted warmly in the transformed restaurant and led to a table for two halfway down the long dining room. On the way it was a surprise to step on the glass... More

I took a group of 36 for a pre-theatre meal here. The menu choices were excellent, the service was friendly and efficient and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will certainly return in the future.

We've visited numerous of time and have never been disappointed. From the excellent ambience, quality wine list and some excellently crafted food. The crab rillettes, French onion soup, steak and the halibut in a champagne sauce with scallops are just some highlight which we have sampled over the last few months. Great job at bringing a touch of class to... More

Lovely atmosphere, busy but not rushed. Lovely choices for food and very impressed with quality of the steak and veal we had. Vegetable portions a bit small for £2.50 each but tasty none the less.
