My husband and I popped in for dinner after he heard about the suckling pig. I had the confit of duck and we both really enjoyed our food. The meat was well cooked and the potatoes were delicious. Wine is a tad expensive, but the...More

Bel and Dragon chain seem to choose old and/or unusual premises which adds lots of character to each restaurant so they are really delightful and interesting. The staff are good and so is the service. The menu whilst not extensive would have enough variety for...More

Absolutely spectacular Sunday lunch with my family. The salmon melted in my mouth, it was truly incredible. One of people I was with is a very sensitive coeliac and this was absolutely no problem for the staff which is a blessing. The prices aren’t cheap...More

We fancied a nice dinner and dropped in to the restaurant. We had the confit of duck and the lamb. Both were perfectly cooked. We go there every few months and have not yet been disappointed.

We came here for lunch, the staff were very friendly and couldn't fault their service. We had chosen for the a la carte menu. Both our starters were really tasty. The mains were also lovely but just missing something. perhaps just needed to be tasted...More

A friend took me to this place for lunch and we felt the food was disappointing and the wine was overpriced. We were seated originally near a family with a badly behaved child, when we asked if we could move we were given the eye...More

Been here before but not for a year or 2. Really not that impressed this time around. I usually could or would be tempted by most things on a menu but struggled to find something. This seemed more like a dinner menu than a lunch...More

Overall our experience was actually pretty good and we felt that the staff definitely deserved a tip. However, I felt it prudent to check that this would be shared with the waitering staff so I asked....I was horrified to learn that it would appear as...More

We found parking along the road by the river, which was free/no cost in the evening after a certain time (sorry I can't remember the times), bur there are plenty of car parks in the area. Just in case though, to avoid... More
