Beautiful pub in lovely location, food was excellent and plentiful. Crayfish tails & Veg soup to start. For mains I had Sea Bass (2 fillets) and the bf had a cold meat platter (similar to a ploughman’s) I never seen so much meat on one...plate. And it beat him. Would definitely recommend this jewel of a find to anyone visiting Ascot and the surrounding areaMore

Such friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It currently has a lovely outside seating area which is covered in a flexi tent so you won’t get wet whatever the weather. It’s Dog friendly as well which is always a bonus for dog parents.

The "old couple " Annie & Nick run a great pub .... complimented by the young "Team Duke ". This makes for a very favourable dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunches of succulent Roast Beef and delicious Roast Pork with crackling. The staff...were very friendly and accommodating... all you could wish for in a nice cosy pub for a Sunday lunch ... many thanks Annie & Nick you both run a super pub 🤗 LikeMore

A delight to be able to enjoy dinner after the second lockdown. COVID-19 precautions are scrupulous. An extensive menu which never fails to disappoint. The fish dishes are always excellent, the fish man delivering regularly.

Our small walking group of three couples plus Ebony booked Christmas Lunch at the Duke Of Edinburgh - a place we had eaten lunch in larger groups in previous years. We all thought that it was a great lunch. The food was excellent (with nice...hot plates), the staff couldn't do more for us and the setting was fabulous. They had erected a large tent, well decorated and nicely laid out tables and chairs. They had heaters and provided blankets. We shall be back again, soon we hope.More

Went two nights ago; as always superb! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Beer is in good condition. The food is wonderful. Entering the pub at this time of year, made us finally feel the Christmas spirit - it's so beautifully decorated. A great evening,...which after this year's lockdowns, lifted our spirits. Wish we lived nearer! Also wish we could give The Duke of Edinburgh more than the five stars allowedMore

A favourite of ours for food, drink and meeting up with friends. There is an amazing outside covered space with heaters, flooring and lovely lighting perfect for a meal and drinks last night. We were warm enough with jumpers on and it had a really...nice atmosphere. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere to meet outside and have a meal or drinks.More
