My first visit here, Blue & Moo pie with Mash 'n peas plus gravy was delicious. The pastry was crunchy & the STILTON inside leant a lovely tasty flavour. Hot chocolate fudge cake with single cream [ not synthetic] and a Cappachino made a delightful meal. Décor was olde worlde , comfortable & cosy. Toilet facilities were clean & presentable,... More

The food really was poor which was disappointing as the menu looked good. Two of our party chose pie and both looked as though the pastry had been finished under the grill (and forgotten about). Ham and chips was plastic looking pre formed slices. We didn't bother with pud.

We go here for work events every so often and since it has been taken over by new management it has been horrendous and I keep saying to myself if anything's organised there don't go but want to give it a chance to change or that they might have been having a bad day but NO it's always bad on... We and my other half were wondering what to do for lunch one weekday walking through town and stumbled across the Pheasant! From the moment we stepped in it was quiet and peaceful. Excellent decor and very cosy. Best service we have had anywhere! And the food was amazing. I would recommend the club sandwich! It was amazing. Will be... More

We decided to visit for a meal with our friends after popping in for a drink a few weeks ago, where we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. We found the bar clean and the barman (Mike) able to join in some banter. We ordered starters that all were well cooked and enjoyable. Our mains were again well presented... More

Had a party of 6 for dinner. Service was really good - quick friendly and efficient. Good was really good with no complaints from all 6 of us. Will definitely use again.

Stopped here for a Sunday roast, don't bother as food is under cooked and not presented very well, also 4 beers not available on tap as they have run out. Looks nice but better places to go in Salisbury

The pub itself has been renovated recently and it has been done up really nicely. Tasteful decor, good service and nice food. Shame it doesn't have a garden but the courtyard is pleasant. Prices fairly reasonable too, compared with other nearby places. Will definitely come again.

Lovely pub with great food at fair prices! The bartender (beard, tattoos) was great, really helpful and friendly!

Had read a good review about this pub a long time ago and stored it in the 'places I must visit' part of my brain. Finally got the opportunity to try it out at the weekend. It's just off the tourist trail, so not packed and noisy like other city centre establishments we passed on the way. No traditional pub... More
