Called in on the way from a few days away. Ambience of the square was good, market in place. Had lunch and glass of wine sat outside. Just right. Went to the ladies and the inside of the pub was very interestingly old but clean....Enjoyable lunch.More

Stopped for a quick pint whilst out shopping (we had the luxury of a hotel overnight). We were given a lovely cheerful friendly greeting by Dave who found us a spot in the sofa. Pink Gins for me and a couple of delicious pints of...Guinness for Lee. We sat and people watched. It was a fab way to spend a rainy afternoon. Dave had to turn away so many people it was that busy. We shall have to return for some food. Don’t listen to those reviewers who say the staff are miserable.More

Called in The Ox Row for lunch. Brilliant service from Emile and the staff. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed the Bengal Lancer IPA. Great city centre location and perfect for a a mid-afternoon break.

Very accommodating and friendly on a busy Saturday afternoon. The fish finger sandwich was delicious and the chips hot and tasty. Great start to a weekend break.

Visited around 5pm on a saturday when it was very busy. Full up inside but just managed to find a table outside. Unfortunately it was getting chilly so stayed for 1 drink only. Thankfully we were served quickly.

Well after ringing the pub 2 weeks before to confirm that they could cater for vegan and wheat intolerant, they had not a clue. My vegan meal I ordered I was told was a hot meal. it was a cold meal. My husband order the...Sunday roast chicken gluten free, luckily he asked when it arrived if the yorkshire pud and cauliflower cheese was definitely gluten free. The server had not a clue, took the meal away and came back with another meal minus the yorkie and cauliflower cheese. Totally disgraceful my husband would have been very ill if he had eaten it. The staff barely apologised and could not care less!!!! We won't be going back.More

What an unfriendly place!!! We were made to feel like intruders when we went in. Staff were not particularly helpful or pleasant. This was about 6:30 on a Sunday evening and over half the menu was not available so we got up and left and...found a restaurant a little way along the road that was really welcoming and friendly. Stayed a week in Salisbury and this was the only place we haven't given a 5 star revue!! Think they need to up their game especially in the evenings.More

We visited here recently as it looked like a great place to be. We were disappointed at just how slow the service was, we had to ask a number of times for the same things. The food was ok, but certainly not a place I...would choose to revisit as it certainly didn’t match the standards we would hope for.More
