We always meet here for coffee when we visit Salisbury. The cafe is in such a lovely setting next to the Cathedral, so much nicer than a high street chain coffee shop. Good coffee. Service was fast and friendly. Well worth visiting the gift shop attached to the cafe for some unusual 'Cathedral' related gifts.

A lovely and well designed spot off the cloisters. Remarkable variety of dining and drink options. We enjoyed a delicious watercress soup -- made even better by having optional additives like cheese, and hot pepper flakes. Breads were fresh and well made.

We called in for afternoon tea after visiting the beautiful Cathedral. There is a large seating area with additional seating in the cloisters and a good selection of hot and cold food. Although it was busy we got a table with a perfect view of the Spire through the glass roof. My latte was very good and, as my friend... More

One of the better cathedral tearooms with a wide selection of dishes on offer. The cake mountain contained many old favourites and the sandwiches and soup were imaginative selections. It got a bit crowded inside when we were there as it was raining but you can eat in the cloisters just outside the refectory if you prefer. The glass roof... More

Nice little cafe, quite expensive but it's a good location with great seating outside in the square.

After a wonderful tour of the cathedral, we stopped in here for lunch. The view of the cathedral spire through the glass roof is simply stunning; worth coming here for this alone. The food and beverage options were good too; both hot and cold choices (soup, roasts, sandwiches etc) which seemed to be freshly prepared on the premises. The feta... More

If you are on a gluten-free diet, caution is needed in this restaurant! My friend asked which food was gluten-free and was told both soups and the salmon. He ordered vegetable soup and the server went into the kitchen to get gluten-free bread. Having eaten some soup, my friend realised there was pasta in the soup. He checked with the... More

The Refectory was a real surprise. The food was excellent and good value and of course you can eat it in the cloisters too. We ordered the butternut squash soup and the pork baguette - both of these were very large and well done. Then we had cold drinks and all of this for 12 GBP - excellent value and... More
