We ate inside although it was almost warm enough to eat outside, which was an inviting thought. But inside is a very elegant conversion of the old Post Office with a huge glass wine rack taking up a large part of the room. Food and service were excellent and not too expensive.

We have visited before for lunch and it's always spot on. The service is excellent and really friendly! The food is better than Banyan next door and well presented, the lunch menu is also well priced. Highly recommended on a lovely day like today.

Early door dinner for a birthday treat. Nice Thai style starter, however main course choice of rib-eye steak was a misteak (sic). Certainly not the greatest cut of beef that I have ever had. A place to be seen rather than to go for fine dining. Adequate is about as far as I would go.

Brilliant central location. Amazing selection of food with fantastic service. I asked for a cocktail not on the list and it was no bother for this to be made.

Visited on a Saturday eve with friends to this restaurant that we used to love a year or so ago. The background music was far too loud for starters. Service was very poor and after ordering two bottles of wine, we were sat waiting with empty glasses for far too long and we had to chase this up. Steaks were... More

I was disappointed. The drinks order came back with a glass of wine ratherthan thebottle we ordered. The main course for two arrived and the third meal was not there when th two guests had finished. The prices are fairly high and I expected a better experience.

Business trip to Leeds, managed to grab sometime away during our stay and popped into The Restaurant and Grill for a few drinks. The Guinness was brilliant, the smoothest Guinness I have tasted in a long time! FANTASTIC! Great atmosphere, lovely staff and the decor was very classy- Brilliant. Would definitely come again when we're next in Leeds.

Have eaten here a number of times down the years. The fish and chips is out of this world and also had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had here... On this occasion I went for the half tandoori chicken which came with rice and some mint yoghurt - the chicken took around 30 minutes to cook in the... More

After an afternoon's shopping, a quick decision was made to have a meal here (Previously a city Post Office) before catching the train home. Quick lunch is from 12:00 till 5:00, and we arrived at 4:45. A warm welcome and quick but not rushed service. Due to the time of day, the restaurant was quiet, but did start to fill... More
