Good food & service

we visited on a Friday evening around 7.30pm and had the place to ourselves throughout which we thought was a bit ominous.... but we were happy with the food and of course, the service was spot on since we had no competitors. The menu is very similar to the previous Amaans on Dawson Hill, so very... read more

We ordered our meal from the Hungry House app. What an absolute waste of time energy and money. If I could give a minus rating I would. This meal consisted of salt, salt and even more salt with a sprinkling of meat. It wasn't edible at all and ended up in the bin. I wouldn't even recommend this place to... More

I used to love Amaans when it was at the old place. However, since they moved they have turned into one of those down market Indian, Pizzas, Kebabs type of places. Food was good, but to build a brand new building and then receive one star on scores on the doors is disgusting. Specialise in Indian, and get yourself a... More

Good menu, decent prices, bring your own booze, friendly enough staff, nice interior. But the row of buildings on Chapel Hill of which this is a part resembles a ghetto, so not an area to bring anyone to impress. Also, when the on-street parking is taken up, you may have to park quite a way away.

I was a big fan of Amaans when they were located on Dawson Hill, so thought I'd treat myself on a rare evening with the hubby out and twins asleep. Hmmmmm wish I hadn't bothered. My once loved liver tikka was over cooked and my main far too spicy for a dish I've had many times before. Hope things improve... More

After eating there, I was shocked to find out they only got 1 out of 5 from Leeds City Council on their hygiene rating scheme. Avoid.
