Managed to get a booking for early saturday evening (6.00) and it was empty when we got there as it was just opening. We were assured they were fully booked and before long every table was full. By 8.00 there was a considerable number of people waitng for vacated tables, so it is clearly a very popular place to eat.... More

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and we decided to try it when visiting our son. We weren't disappointed at all. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the ambience lovely and the food... Who knew a Tikka Masala Korma even existed!! Well it does and it was amazing!! Excellent food, never tasted curry like it. Will be certain... More

We decided to try The Corner Cafe and were not disappointed. The food was tasty and the overall experience quite a bit different than a typical Indian restaurant. A meal for four including poppadoms, a couple of starters, a main course each, drinks and a couple of rices and naan breads to share came in at under sixty quid. The... More

I took my daughter for a meal last night. We both opted for the early bird menu. The food was a delight. The waiter explained that the portions would be slightly smaller but seriously we were stuffed! This was one of the best curries I've eaten in a long time and trust me I've had lots. I will definitely be... More

Firstly, the fish korma masala at this place is actually the nicest curry I have ever tasted. My girlfriend and I have become hooked on this curry ever since the first time we came for a meal here when we moved into the area around two years ago. Since then the quality has remained consistent. Secondly, we were in there... More

I went and had the early bird menu. I like this as it give me a chance to have all the things I like without stuffing myself silly. On the early bird you get a Poppadum, Starter and Main course served with Pilau Rice, 2 Chapatti or 1 Tandoori Naan. The Main dish is a little smaller than you would... More

Thanks Maria, for a great review. The Early Bird is a great option and is available midweek and also on Sundays. We make all our breads to order, so it is great to hear that they are appreciated. I will pass on your comments to our team. More

Unexpected in the area and worth a trip out of town. Food was great with decent alternatives, especially vegetarian. Good drinks choice, with some different additions including"Leeds Gin" good to be able to choose nearly any dish and dictate how hot it was.

In cities like Leeds where there are inevitably a great many curry houses it is often difficult to make a good choice. So I was pleased to get taken here by a local who was a regular. For a starter we just had poppadoms which were fine though I thought charging for pickles beyond a basic yoghurt dip was a... More

We've been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years and have never found one we like more than the Corner Café. The food is delicious, the service efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. The owners treat everybody like old friends and are always very welcoming.

As a long time regular of the old Corner Cafe by The Skinners Arms and this one in its early days, I was just blown away by the changes. The changes - upstairs bar and seating etc - may have been ages ago, they were new to us! I had tried to book a table some weeks ago but they... More

We are a small, independent, family run restaurant. Our food is home style cooking inspired by family dishes from Old Delhi. Our menu has a wide range of vegetarian dishes available. Following the addition of a new mezzanine floor we are now fully licensed. We stock many different ales from local breweries.
