Ahh thanks Dominic! It's uncanny you mentioned the second vegan sandwich option - that's what we are planning in the next week! Thank you for choosing us as your place to come to :) best wishes, Ellie

We visited here for lunch - on a whim. "Lets try somewhere different!". And we weren't disappointed. My wife was drawn to the art gallery, I to the coffee and cakes. She had soup, I had a humus focacia. We then had a coffee each......More

We first visited here in the summer only to be stared at by staff members and looked up and down, we left uncomfortably without ordering. Recently returned to give it another shot. Some of the staff are polite as you'd expect, but there is an...More

I popped in for a quick lunch and I was not disappointed. Great selection of sandwiches, paninis and cakes and lovely coffee for a reasonable price. I liked that the café is set in an art gallery, so you are surrounded by works of art...More

Went in for a drink and food, stood looking around and an Italian sounding young lad who appeared to work here told us to "move out way idiots" as he was carrying something. Was great other than this rudeness. :-/. May Need training in how...More

Hi John, This is Ellie, owner of 164 - i'm really very sorry that this happened, that kind of unacceptable attitude is definitely not tolerated over here. I'd love to invite you back for a complimentary lunch and coffee, and a chat about your experience...More

I really enjoy to visit this place often, to have a coffee or for the amazing panini available, but I'm so annoyed from the staff attitude, they never smile, they make my day horrible, every time I see those sadly faces. I believe when you...More

164 Bakery + Coffee is a developing group of independent bakeries and coffee shops in Leeds.

We bake our own bread, every day, with just 5 ingredients: water, extra virgin olive oil, yeast, flour and salt. Hand mixed, hand shaped and hand cut for and every individual sandwich we make for you, every day.

This bread forms the basis of our sandwich menu - all of our sandwiches are in a hand made ciabatta or focaccia bread.

We choose our sandwich fillings based one thing only - quality.

All of our sandwiches are fresh, every day, without fail, and never roll over to the next day.

Leftover sandwiches are donated to food and homeless charities.

We work with local roasters to serve speciality espresso based drinks in line with the SCA UK standards of quality and preparation.
