This is a great curry house. It delivers quality consistently. Starters of lamb chops - 3 succulent lamb chops - £4 and they come sizzling - amazing The knowledgable staff member recommended an Afgahbi curry with lamb - really tasty. At the end of meal we were offered free drinks and chocolate. For poppadoms - starter - main meals -... More

I moved to Leeds in 2006 and I reckon I have had curries from 20-30 different curry houses in my time here and Bengal is the best by far Bengal offer great service, great consistency, great flexibility (strength of curry), great selection, great draught beer, a great takeaway service (although I tend to collect) and they do this all at... For my 21st birthday party we ordered curry to be made for us and put in to containers so that we could bring it home. The curries went down a treat! Everyone loved them and were stuffed afterwards! They even provided naan bread which was lovely :) would highly recommend Bengal Brasserie to anyone! All my family enjoy it and... More

Our friends go here a lot so it came highly recommended, it was a fab little place with a varied menu and reasonable prices, service was excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble. It was a nice place to eat and to catch up with friends.

We'll we have visited a few times now in between going to other restaraunts to try and nowhere is beating bengal at the minute. The staff are superb and the manager so lovely but the food is the clincher. I am quite fussy but I would recommend this to all my friends. I always look on trip advisor and can't... More

The food was excellent. Poppadoms and pickles to start. Followed by sizzling mixed started, heated by candle fuelled heaters. The main courses were also placed on the candle fuelled heaters. There was plenty of food. The waiters left enough time between courses so we weren't rushed. It was our families first visit. All 7 of us were very happy with... More

Limited selection of curries in the buffet with only one vegetarian option. It was unclear how the buffet operated. The curries in the buffet were dry, not hot and generally bland. Rice and Naan cooked to order which was a positive. The order in which you eat all of your food is decided beforehand and you have to eat your... More

This is genuinely one of the best indians in Leeds. The food is excellent and good value while the staff are superb and always make you feel welcome. Mr Sham treats everyone like family. The Sunday buffet always has a good mix and isn't buffet quality, its resteraunt quality. Very relaxed atmosphere and great selection there is actually nothing I... More

Without a doubt the best Indian cuisine in the Leeds area and the service is very friendly. Reasonably priced. Whenever we have Indian food this is where we come.

Went here last night with friends expecting to have the best Indian meal ever but I came away very disappointed, my mixed starter was tasteless, nothing had a distinct flavour, not even the pickles with the pickle tray and my main Murg Kandhari was bland and consisted primarily of large pieces of onion and pepper and not meat. I cook... More
