I would echo the recent reviews. I went to sesame for lunch today, really excited to return to my old favourite now that I'm back in Leeds. Arrived just before 12 (and therefore before the lunchtime rush) but despite there being 3 members of staff behind the counter and no other customers, no one wanted to take my order and... More

My boss has a salad from here everyday. I decided to start getting one for myself, I have a tight lunch budget, but treat myself once a week to a large salad for £5.50. You get plenty of choice for salad items. Some of the reviews on here are old and, I can tell you portion sizes have increased the... More

Walked in. Five staff behind counter. Ignored for ten whole minutes so I walked out. Just not acceptable. Went down the road to competitor, served immediately.

A new favourite and it is very busy at peak times but service is pretty swift. Queuing system can be a little confusing at first but bear with it. Plenty of choice on the salad bar but the servers can be a but skinny with portions of each so if you don't want a little of everything, make sure you... More

I stop by Sesame every couple of weeks for my favourite salad in Leeds. A medium box gives you five or six options, falafel, tzatziki, (sometimes) croutons, dressing and a meat, fish or cheese. The salad mixes are always fresh and delicious with fourteen or so different items to choose from. I recommend the slightly spicy noodles and teriyaki salmon... More

Home made every day salads and sandwich fillings. Lots of choice to suit the cautious and adventurous! Very busy at lunchtime which says it all. The foot is fantastic.

One must try the salad bar and the sushi is to die for. Bit of a long queue right out the door at lunchtime so best to avoid peak times! New favourite :)

I used to love Sesame, absolutely hands down it was one of the best little Cafe's in Leeds. Recently though the portions have become smaller and smaller, the fillings in the sandwiches are a joke and today I got a small salad for £3.50. The box isn't even full and it is so disappointing. I think the staff there need... More

I was going to consider the posh coffee/cake shop up the road but when I saw Fish Finger Sandwich on the board outside it made me smile & I went in. Lots of great food waiting for the lunch crowd that were not far behind me. Good coffee and very impressive service. Great value.
