Ate here as a couple on a Saturday evening. Nice location although it would be hard to stumble across without knowing it was there. We had the steak main which was really good and surprisingly cheap. Service could have been slightly faster, however the owner (super nice guy) explained that they were understaffed that evening. Besides, he did a great... More

Bought a Groupon for breakfast with drinks for two which was just shy of £10. Called in for breakfast this morning with a friend and left very satisfied... Between us we ordered Eggs Benedict and Eggs Benedict Royal (salmon used instead of ham), fresh orange and coffee. Great quality ingredients, perfect portion size and lovely fresh coffee. Fresh orange juice... More

Visited here for dinner last Friday evening. The food was excellent. My Mum and I had the risotto which was delicious and my Husband and Dad went for the beast burgers which were huge! The homemade chips were superb! We all enjoyed everything we had and it was a bargain on a Groupon voucher! We were the only customers in... More

Used the Engine house instead of paying for breakfast in the Hotel as was staying at the doubletree and breakfast was a bit pricey, breakfast was fantastic and brilliant service. Will definitely go again p.s. try the pancakes!!!!

Whenever we stay in Leeds we normally stay at the Doubletree, Hilton but always make a point of having breakfast at the Engine House. The food is always freshly cooked, reasonably priced with the staff very friendly and courteous. A little hidden gem, well worth the short walk.

I had a Jaapenos burguer on my last visit to the Engine House Cafe and must recommend it is delicious. I have been in this little gem a few times and never have been disapointed. Having breakfast with coffee or a nice lunch with wine had the same outcome. Great service and excelent food

I've eaten here 3 consecutive days now for lunch and have never been disappointed, I've had lovely steak salads, a chilli type burger & today the best duck confit salad. This place deserves a visit, keep up the high standards & friendly service

Highly recommended! We were a gruop of people, and we ordered many different dishes from the menu, and every plate was absolutelly amazing. Pulled pork sandwich...duck confit....ohhh and all those burgers..mmmmmm. I just cant wait to go back to try rest of the dishes on the menu. Lovely place with nice chill out music in the backgroud and friendly staff.
