My husband and I have been to Nash's restaurant on several occasions over the past few years and always enjoyed the haddock, chips and mushy peas. The decor is old fashioned but in keeping with the character of the building. Each time we have been there have only been a handful of diners, sometimes we have outnumbered the staff. The... More

Went for my tea last week, the restaurant was upstairs, the chip shop on the ground floor. My fish and chips were lovely, and the service good. They were not too many customers when I visited so I was served promptly. Their hand dryer in toilet was not working but they had placed out hand towels as an alternative, which... More

Friday night tea with two children in Leeds, service was excellent, we all enjoyed our food. No complaints from my fussy grand children. Lovely ice cream and cheese cake to finish and reasonably priced

Came here for the first time after looking online for recommended fish and chip restaurants in Leeds, and I'm so glad I did! Visited during early evening for dinner and both had the haddock, and it was fantastic! Really generous portions, lovely hot fresh tasting chips and the fish batter was simply gorgeous, so light and crispy, just the way... More

1st time and not the last if we are in Leeds for the theatre its across the road from the Grand. Well worth a visit for first class Fish and Chips, with first class service from all the staff. and not over priced. The only draw back is the main restaurant is on the first floor.

Well known and established fish restaurant. Premises close to the Grand theatre and ideal for a pre or post theatre meal. Service was speedy and the haddock produced for a 'pensioner's ' meal was substantial and the battery as tasty. The prices are reasonable for a town centre. The internal decorations are a little dated.

Went with friends for fish, chips, peas bread and butter and pot of tea - friendly staff and a beautiful tasty meal before going to the theatre.

Myself and my wife visited Nash's for the first time on Saturday lunchtime. The setting is amazing. It is a 18th century building with many of the original features still in place. We ordered Haddock, chips and mushy peas. We were served very quickly and everything was hot as you would expect. The fish was superb. Succulent and white and... More
