Had a lovely evening here with friends. Good wine choice. Very cosy, atmospheric and great food. Fabulous starters well presented. Service was a little hit and miss, suspect a waiter in training served us. Would definitely visit again

Our intended restaurant on Haworth Main Street was not open on the Saturday lunch time we visited, so we walked down the hill and found Wharenui. It was a fortunate find. The bar and bistro is small, quirky and very cosy. The menu is not extensive but what it offered was excellent. We started with a large shared plate of... More

"Yes: we are open!" says the sign on the door. This place may not catch your eye as much its chintzy competitors on Haworth's cobbled high street but is well worth seeking out. The interior is cosy and very stylish and the food top notch. 'Wharenui' is a Māori meeting house, by the way.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Decent portions, nice and cozy. Would definitely return. Panini, soup and nachos - would recommend. Good price.

Been here a number of times. Good food and very pleasant staff. Wife is a veggie though and the options are a bit lacking I think, could do with a few more, such as a veggie burger or bean stew etc. Service is always very good and good comes out quickly (but not too quick as to think it's not... Having read a review on here from June that made a comment about the fire not being lit (JUNE?!) it made me realise that these poor business owners really are up against stupidity when dealing with the general public! We went for a meal last night & it was beautiful. Perfectly cooked food, lovely atmosphere, good wine. It's only a... More

The web page looked great so made a special trip, drove for an hour to treat my wife. She was looking forward to the Chilli Belly Pork. We arrived and took a seat at a table that was waiting to be cleared. This took a while and when cleared I had to wipe it down myself. Our order was taken,... More

It's the sort of restaurant that really appeals to me, small, quirky and a varied menu. The building was originally two weavers cottages so the ceiling and the entrance is quite low. The menu is quite small but is enlarged by a specials board and the staff were also good enough to make a starter into a main on both... More

Fantastic food served in a beautiful building. Can't fault it. Lovely , friendly waitresses. Scrumptious food. The people of Haworth are so nice.

The restaurant itself is quaint and quirky. It is tiny, so has a great atmosphere. The service is always excellent - staff are polite, friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is great - we have eaten there often and we have always had a lovely meal. The prices are reasonable. The only reason I have not given 5... More
