We have been visiting this place for years and the food is consistently good. However, the last three times this year our enjoyment has been marred by the head waitress whose attitude seems to permeate the whole atmosphere of the place. The waiter and waitress were lovely and very attentive (this time they seemed to be brand new and the... More

the afternoon tea was lovely, substantial, and excellent value. i would have loved it if the waitress had shown us to a table. i noticed later on that a group were taken to a table, and given menus. i fully appreciate though that we had asked for the afternoon tea, so in fairness, i understand possibly why we were not... Popped in after a walk for a light lunch and found this to be a lovely establishment. Our friend had two well behaved dogs and they too were welcome and given treats. I had the brie and ciabbata and it was yummy. Also recommend their ice cream milk shakes

We went to The Stirrup to meet friends on a busy Friday afternoon. It was lovely weather and we sat outside. The service was prompt and friendly and we were advised of the favourites on the menu. The food was excellent, truly excellent! The menu was good and we all had something different. Despite it being busy, we were served... More

I have been to this cafe, several times in fact probably each time I visit Haworth. This latest visit was for the 40s weekend I found the menu to be varied with plenty of choice and the portions are generous. I have never been disappointed by the lunch or the cake I've ordered and the staff are friendly and polite.... More

The food was excellent and the price reasonable. We had not booked, but were offered a table at short notice. Recommended.

After a short walk around howarth, decided to go in to the stirrup for some food, I was told to take a seat outside and they would come and take our order, after waiting 20 minutes and not been served I decided to leave, very poor service

We went here on a recent trip to Haworth. It gets very busy at lunchtimes and the staff cope very well with such a large range of food. I had a BLT club sandwich which came with chips ( very filling) and partner had a very full ham cheese and pickle sandwich. Recommended for a good fill up. Will go... More

Horrible, cold and windy day in Haworth and then we found The Stirrup which made our day. Service from the pleasant, friendly waitresses was quick and efficient. We had prawn/prawn & avocado sandwiches which were great, with fresh brown bread and well filled with a good pot of tea, followed by one of the best lemon drizzle cakes I've ever... More

Got a very nice meal at this little restaurant at lunch time. The staff were really friendly towards the children and happy to help.
