We stopped here for lunch, and from start to finish everything was great, we found a table and with in a minute we had menus and we're ordering, the guy who took our order was cheerful and very attentive, nothing was to much trouble, the hot chocolate was good and the ciabatta I had was really tasty, over all a... Visited The Stirrup today and had a lovely meal of fish and chips. They have a brilliantly unique way of serving the food - a plate for the fish, a cup of chips and a separate pot for the tartar sauce. The fish was one of the whitest I have ever seen and the chips were very golden. Both were... More

We ate here on Saturday night and were throughly impressed with the service and the produce. I had the best black pudding I have had in a long time and it was perfectly cooked! The staff, including the chef, were friendly and efficient. If you're lucky enough to be in Haworth on a Saturday night when they open for evening... More

Nipped in for three of us to cream tea. The tea was good, both plain and fruit scones were excellent. The alleged Americano coffee I had was the worst cup of coffee I've had in ages. Weak, small and tasteless. Reminded me why up until recently I never trusted coffee in English cafes.

Haworth is a busy place and there are several cafes to choose from. We chose here and didn't regret it. Service was attentive and food was quick and great value for money. The staff should be pleased with their level of service and experience.

Initially the waiter told us apologetically that he could not take the order at present as they were so busy! It did not appear that busy. Curious....then he quickly returned and said he could! We ate fish finger sandwiches with salad and chips. Really tasty and a reasonable price. The fish fingers were home made. Glad they could accommodate us.... More

We have been visiting this place for years and the food is consistently good. However, the last three times this year our enjoyment has been marred by the head waitress whose attitude seems to permeate the whole atmosphere of the place. The waiter and waitress were lovely and very attentive (this time they seemed to be brand new and the... More

the afternoon tea was lovely, substantial, and excellent value. i would have loved it if the waitress had shown us to a table. i noticed later on that a group were taken to a table, and given menus. i fully appreciate though that we had asked for the afternoon tea, so in fairness, i understand possibly why we were not... Popped in after a walk for a light lunch and found this to be a lovely establishment. Our friend had two well behaved dogs and they too were welcome and given treats. I had the brie and ciabbata and it was yummy. Also recommend their ice cream milk shakes
