After having a walk along the Leeds Liverpool canal (trying to find geo caching with kids) stumbled across this canal side tea room, sun trap setting with a great choice of sandwiches, pains, cakes and the wife's favorite a large glass of sav blanc. She's now organising weekly walks along the canal (I wonder why) Well worth getting the walking... More

Well worth the extra walk if you haven't made it that far along the Leeds to Liverpool... More

The title makes it sound like we were the first to happen upon this cafe on the canal but this is obviously not the case judging by the previous comments. However, since my wife and I have been walking the Leeds Liverpool canal we have dropped upon several other nice little refreshment stops and so to find another shouldn't really... More

Walking along the canal, there is a little gem to be found. A wonderfully situated resting hole. This cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. It allows dogs and disable facilities. It has an area for pushchairs and bikes. The food is reasonably priced and a fantastic variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. In fact so good going for my... More
