Stayed at the George and Dragon Pub during the Arundel festival. Good clean rooms, excellent breakfast and good value.

If your in the area and looking for some were to stay you should give this place a try. It was very well maintained and the breakfast was made to order a plus in my books to have a fresh breakfast

A group of 6 of us poured in on a raining day last week, we were wet and cold so wanted some warming food. And George and dragon delivered. A couple had steak and ale pie with chips and veg and gravy which they said were very nice, another had Steak, cooked well nice and rare, and the house chilli... More

This place is perfect for any occasion - drink after work, group gathering, lunch or dinner. The food is always well presented and tasty. Reasonable price too. There is a hotel too but I haven't stayed myself. It is always busy though. Christmas is a particular lovely time in here with the cosy feel. Likewise in the summer the decked... More

I popped into the George and Dragon with my boyfriend on Fathers Day for lunch, and I am glad to see there are still a few little independent pubs going strong. Although the pub was busy the barmaid greeted us straight away and directed us to the restaurant at the rear. The restaurant was busy so the waitress set us... More

Accommodation ideal for our 1 night stay but would have been happy to stay longer. Staff very friendly and helpful even reserved us seating in the bar when we had finished dinner. Would certainly return again.

The food is consistently good in this local pub that is enjoyed by visitors and locals alike. Not a vast area just for drinking but snug sofas in one area and wooden tables and chairs or tables and stools around too. The restaurant tucked around the back is good. Food fresh and varied with tasty dishes and sharing boards. Staff... More

I went there for lunch, other reviews promised a lot, it's a shame the food didn't match the good service we received. I had the Bubble & Squeak for starter, this was disappointing with large chunks of potato and carrot in it. However I had high hopes for the mushroom risotto, these hopes were dashed as soon as I put... More

Nice local, gets busy but staff seem to manage. Nice log fire always does the trick. Never eaten here but food always looks good.

Stayed at the George & Dragon in Chichester and it was great! So convenient for all shops in the centre and enjoyed all our meals that we had here - especially the breakfasts which were spot-on! Warm and friendly welcome and yummy mulled wine - what more could you want! Would definitely recommend, which is why we keep returning!
