I have often walked past this pub when in Chichester situated close to the shops and Priory park. It has a pleasant front sitting area. On the hottest day of the year a pint of cider and a pork pie went down well. There is a good choice, beers and wines and a small menu for food. The cider was... More

We go to the theatre in Chichester 4/5 a year and use this pub for a pre-theatre meal. It is fairly basic but a genuine pub serving unpretentious food - the thin chips are very good - and well kept London Pride beer and an easy walk from the car park. The staff are friendly and relaxed.

Went with a friend on Friday night. Opted for 2 steaks and bottle of wine for £25 deal. Couple of nice rump steaks cooked well. Mine was rare and just right with chips , peas, mushroom and tomato. Sicilian red wine was fine. Good selection of ales and music was not obtrusive, nice bit if Billy Ajmer which pleased my... More

Went in here because it looked dead (good) . Because I wanted to get of the streets with all the stuck-ups roaming around + Spoons was to busy . Thanks for providing isolation .

We've been to this pub a few times over the years and it has changed hands a few times, this time for the best. Always good beer and food and a good atmosphere, it really does feel like a locals pub in London, shame it's not a mile nearer us. Now they are having bands on which is always good... More

Stopped there with my boyfriend for our lunch. It's located near the park and is quite charming inside and outside. The atmosphere is a bit rock n roll which we both enjoyed. Good choice of ales and good classic pub menu. Nothing to say about the food except that it was very nice and fresh. Portions are good and service... More
