Went with my wife and daughter for and evening meal. We had pre booked and the restaurant was quite busy. I ordered chicken liver and wild mushroom Terrine and the slow cooked shoulder of lamb. My wife and daughter shared the olive nibbles for a starter and the shoulder of lamb and the12 hour cooked belly pork. We ordered the... More

Stopped in for a pint and loved the lively vibe and the beer selection was great! Love me some English beer! Would definitely return!

Met up with friends at what we had heard was a good place to eat. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. The roast beef was clearly the left overs from the lunch sittings and the sweet chilli chicken came out of a jar. Service was a bit slow which was surprising considering that the restaurant was not at all busy.... More

Having passed the place many a time, we finally stopped in for Sunday lunch. We ordered the pork, beef and lamb dishes. Beef got Yorkshire pudding, £1 each for any other dish to have one, I thought that a little mean. The food I found to be bland and lacking taste I'm afraid. Will I return, no I'm afraid not....
