Stopped here on Monday afternoons about 2.30pm after a long drive. Was very pleased they served food all day & dogs were very welcome. Pub was not busy but had a nice atmosphere. Lovely sofas by the fire & when we first arrived they were taken. We sat by window near sofas but radiator was not working so we were... More

We stopped here for lunch and it was a real treat. We all ordered carvery and would definitely go again. A lovely man served us at the carvery and gave us 2 pieces of stuffing rather than one - thank you! Our table was in a nice quiet corner although as we had booked and had the pram it would... More

Visited today for Sunday lunch and as usual it was delicious, the Beef and Pork were so tasty and there was a great selection of vegetables. The Date and Apple pudding was absolutely gorgeous and was large enough to share. The staff were attentive and smiling and the chef was a hoot. Still our favourite place for a Sunday Carvery.

We went as a party of 10 with some of us having the carvery and some items off the menu, all of food was excellent. I'm a vegetarian, but had the vegetables from the carvery together with a really delicious vegetarian pie; the pastry was outstanding. For dessert we had various items from summer pudding with cream to fruit pavlova,... More

We stayed here as it looked quite pretty on the website but in reality the outsides are starting to look a bit shabby, not helped by the pollution from the almost continual stream of cars that pass by on the A27 to Arundel. The insides are as you'd expect from an English country (ish) pub, copious amounts of wood with... More

My partner and I popped in for a very late lunch and found the inn to be most welcoming on a cold autumn day. Seating was in abundance and the service was quick. The waiting staff explained the menu very wel though it was a tad expensive. We ordered a vegetarian and non veg meal and both looked sumptuous on... More

We booked a table for lunch. This was a return visit. We came here last year and the year before. We arrived early and were shown to a table that had not been set up. We started with a pint of prawns. They had been frozen and were swimming in their own water. There were no serviettes or side plates,... More

Awful food. Worst burger ever, over-cooked, chips sized like roast potatoes raw and uncooked and very over-priced. Would not visit again!

Having driven by The White Swan a number of times whilst traversing the A27 my wife and I finally got a chance to give it a go in September 2016. The outside is very well decorated and offers a very attractive and appealing package. Sadly, this expectation of quality is not fulfilled once inside. The layout is somewhat cumbersom without...
