The setting of the restaurant is fantastic and the views inside of the canal and surrounding areas are nice and peaceful after a long day at work. However the price of the food is expensive for what it is and although it does not taste bad it does not taste anywhere near as good as it costs. On the plus... More

Loved the location, really nice looking out on a sunny day. Food was lovely but service was quite slow (visited on a sunday at 2pm - table booked and pretty quiet so no real reason for it being so slow). Still very helpful and polite staff. Wouldn't put me off visiting again.

Thank you so much to Bank for giving us a beautiful night. My husband and I got married on Saturday 12th March 2016, but couldn't get flights for our honeymoon till Monday. We booked to come to bank because we loved the food before. My then fiancé emailed them requesting a table in the window by the canal and a... More

This has been a favourite since it opened and the interior and seating has improved hugely over the years BUT the food has gone downhill, along with the poor service. Went on a Wednesday afternoon for husbands birthday with family (party of 4) SO not busy plenty of staff on. Food was poor my kebabs were cold was told they... More

We came here at the weekend and had the lunch menu. The setting and restaurant is lovely, we sat outside back on the terrace by the river and as it was sunny, it was perfect. The menu's are fairly priced (2 courses for 17 pounds) starter I had chilli Squid on a bed of noodles which were really tasty and... More

Me & 6 of my friends went on Saturday evening for my friends birthday, we were seated no problem. We ordered a jug of water for the table & then ordered our drinks. 5 out of 7 ordered cocktails so we knew we would be waiting longer than usual for our drinks, which was fine. While we waited for the... More

Having been recommended by a friend, I decided to book Bank for my partners birthday. The starters were fine, although a little sparse, just 3 small fishcakes and a bit of thai sauce but nice. For the main my partner had steak Diane and I ordered a sirloin steak. The meals arrived quickly, I poured my béarnaise sauce over my... More

Spent the weekend in Birmingham with some friends last week and accidentally came across Bank. We were lucky to get in as rang to reserve just a few hours before for a Saturday evening. They gave us a lovely round table for 6 in the patio area which was gorgeous. Food - superb (especially the steak!!). Amazing wine and such... More

Our large-sized group (25) of work colleagues went to Bank last week for an evening meal. A previous work visit was a bit disappointing, but this latest visit was far better. As before, we were seated in the off-shoot private room, which has a good view of the kitchen through the glass walls. The seating and table layout was very... More

Very good restaurant, wonderful food and friendly staff. The chocolate fondant is the highlight and is strongly recommended. Attracts also trendy people.
