Was looking for some descent for Sunday lunch and was told that this place was good. Food is as excellent I had roast beef this was very tasty, only downside being a northerner was not enough gravy but otherwise I would highly recommend this place. Good atmosphere, staff friendly, nice lay out and very busy.

Food must be ordered at the bar. It is probably better to book the table prior to visit. It was crowded and there was slight mess in orders. Finally it was fix it. It was very noisy there.

Popped into the Plough one Thursday afternoon, looking to start a harborne crawl with a friend from work, We like beer, real beer that is'nt fizzy & freezing cold. From memory they had 4 beers on, no pump clips.. which is very bizzare, breweries often send pump clips when the beer is delivered, Unless they order their beer from trotters... More

Drove to Birmingham to visit Cadbury world and fancied a bite to eat after. Came across the Plough and I'm so glad we did. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff. We decided on a couple of burgers and as it was a Tuesday, was pleasantly surprised it was 2 for one (although I would have happily paid... More

Extremely popular place. Good for pizza, and perhaps they should concentrate on that and reduce the menu. An interesting range of beers.

A family party of nine visited recently on a Sunday . We arrived at 2.30 pm but Sunday roast lunch was "finished " . Fair enough but our second choices were also "all gone " . Eventually we struck lucky with our third choices and felt very grateful . Food pricey and average , drinks very expensive and no desserts... More

I regularly visit the Plough, usually on a Saturday and on the whole it is always an enjoyable experience but....why oh why are the staff so keen on slamming reserved chalkboards down on the tables as soon as a table is vacated ? Spare some thought for customers who want to visit just for a drink, are they not just... More
