Great Michelin Star quality food without the price tag. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Food and service were all excellent.

A real treat to spend an evening with friends in this superb restaurant. Everything and I mean everything was just fantastic. Really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, great gin selection(!), superb menu and food that matched every expectation for a place with a big reputation. They went out of their way to cater for one of our party who is ceoliac... More

I treated my wife to a surprise for her birthday and Carters did not disappoint. We both went for the 8 course at a very reasonable £85.00 per head. Wine paring for £75.00 per head and it's well worth it. The experience is something like you've never had before. The restaurant itself is small cosy and intimate. This itself is... More

Treated myself to a very indulgent long Friday lunch on my day off, travelling from Nottingham (train/bus). Stylish small dining area. Warm welcome. And then followed a faultless performance of food, matched wines and efficient but very personable service that was a joy to behlold. No stuffiness, just delightful people who clearly love and excel at what they do. All... More

Good food... one or two of the dishes were disappointing but only because of personal taste.... The grouse perhaps was a bit rustic looking with the sweetcorn and I'm not too keen on sweetcorn so perhaps that influenced my decision. Really didn't like the Mackerel, not keen on 'fishy' tasting fish! and strange but I happen not to like figs... More

We were fortunate to get a last minute booking due to a cancellation, and what a treat it turned out to be! We went for the 7 course tasting menu which was amazing, but the best bit was the friendliness of the staff who made us feel totally at ease, including the lovely Brad Carter. We got to meet Brad... Well worth going out of our way to enjoy such delicious cuisine and splendid atmospheric surroundings. The front of house Team are amazing and extremely knowledgeable of the dishes being serves. The wine list is very good and we found exactly what we wanted to accompany the meal. Chef Brad Carter and the Team are producing some of the best... More

The menu gave a choice of up to 8 selections with 3 common snacks and an unannounced ending surprise. The cheapest option was for a limited choice of 3 options out of the 8 for a price of £35 plus 12.5% service. A medium glass of wine and a tonic water took the total to £90. Service was very attentive... More

We visited Carters of Moseley for the first time to celebrate my parents' 30th Wedding Anniversary after hearing such amazing reviews online. To say that we weren't disappointed would be an understatement. Where to begin? The food was absolutely incredible. The presentation was immaculate and the variety of dishes was stunning. The staff were all so knowledgeable about the food... More
