Enjoyed a really lovely meal here last night for my husbands birthday. Staff are really friendly and polite and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning.

We booked this bad boy for my husband's 70th birthday and we had no idea what to expect. We'd visited The Andersons at The Bull in Wooten Wawen a few years back and that being a very nice experience, we decided to give it a try. We were a table of four. Upon arrival we were offered drinks which we... More

This was our second visit to Andersons Bar and Grill. I didn't get round to doing a review first time. Had such a great meal today, I was determined not to miss the opportunity of sharing this time. As soon as we walked in the staff knew my name. We sat for drinks before we were taken to our table.... More

Had pork belly starter to share with my partner and bread for the table. Decent enough but no wow. T bone main for me and sirloin for my Mrs. Both ok but for the money I think you'd be better off going Miller and Carter. Staff are nice

I was working away in Birmingham for the summer and my Portuguese girlfriend was coming to visit for our anniversary. I wanted to take her somewhere special and all of my Birmingham based friends who had visited Anderson's made it clear to me that THIS was the place. I was a bit worried, with my missus being Portuguese and the... More

What a great place! The Service was very attentive. Laid back feel. Setting is nice and relaxed, warm atmosphere. Feel like you could stay here all night (within reason) Nicely salty and soft steak; exactly how it should be. We preferred the lounge area, really cosy. 2 thumbs up all round

We ordered a bottle... More

My friends raved about Andersons so much me and my misses, decided to give it a go. When we arrived, the place looked lovely, we were greeted by friendly staff and shown our table. Drinks were prompt and reasonably priced for Birmingham. We ordered our starters; roast pork belly my girlfriend, and roast bone marrow for myself. This is where... More

Description
Situated on St Pauls Church square, Andersons Bar and Grill is found in the interesting surroundings of former 18th century cellars. However this restaurant is as far from a dingy basement bar as it is possible to be lush, sophisticated dcor brings light and space to the brick arched room, changing displays of art is displayed on the walls and theres a definite buzz to the atmosphere. With a dedication to providing great value food in a relaxed setting along with top quality service, Andersons Bar and Grill is already making its mark on the local dining scene. The food, sourced locally is of course hearty grill fayre but presented with a touch of class so even old favourites such as Barnsley chop or grilled plaice are actually rather special.
