My husband really wanted to try this restaurant, a special meal...well sorry but it's not. Started off quite well, service good wine and water and bread..I ordered duck liver, which appeared to have been sliced from something much larger, foie gras really, very tasty accompanied by raisins very nice. Then I had the lamb...the accompaniments I.e small crispy potatoes about... More

Visited Edmunds mid-week as part of a large group of interesting people and had a very enjoyable evening. Being a relatively large group it was hard to accurately judge the service but it did give a chance to view (and envy) most of the dishes on the menu, whilst waiting for your own to arrive. From that I would happily... More

Came here twice in 3 weeks, purely to check whether we were just unlucky the first time. Alas, same quality of food and service both times, so won't be visiting again. Food is sometimes tasty, but often just over seasoned. Small portions and unusual style of service from some staff. Not great at all unfortunately.

Good food but to be honest for the price tag I was expecting this to be amazing. The portion sizes were minimal even for fine dining. I probably will not go back again. However sometimes in Birmingham more than reasonable food can be hard to come by. If you're after a meal out for a special occasion that you could... More

We booked here for a birthday treat and the food was good, although not much of it! We went for the al-la-carte meal at £50 for 3 courses, although you could go for a 6 course or 8 course tasting menu with wine to support. The wines range from just under £30 and upwards, so a 3 course meal with... More

Another great visit to Edmunds, although this was actually over three weeks ago but having been twice within a month, I wasn't able to review until now. This was my third visit this year and was for an early business dinner this time. I actually came not that long ago and tried the tasting menu, so this time it was... More

I visited the restaurant with my cousin for a evening out in Birmingham. The restaurant itself was lovely and provided a good atmosphere whether you looking for an intimate meal for two or a larger family gathering. The food itself was lovely and not overly expensive for a fine dining restaurant. Overall it was a very nice restaurant and I... More

We had the 8 course taster menu at Edmunds, which was excellent quality. Each course was well presented, delivered at a regular pace, and provided a good range of different tastes. The waiting staff were also friendly and polite. this is a relatively expensive restaurant, so for us only special occasions, but we will definitely return again.
