We visited primarily because I had booked an offer but the food was superb and the service was excellent. We had a tasting menu. I could not fault anything and would definitely recommend for a special night out. Scallops, halibut, ducked a creme bruce were my highlights although the souffle on another table looked good. Our servers were attentive but... More

The head waiter made us feel very welcome and showed us to our table in a very quiet but still atmospheric restaurant. The 6 course tasting menu was excellent, each was beautifully presented and full of subtle flavours.

We visited this lovely place last week and had the set menu for lunch. 3 Courses for £25, extremely good value considering the quality. There were plenty of options, especially for dessert. The waiter was fabulous, very charismatic and not stuffy at all - none of the infuriating folding your napkin charade. Food was perfect, and the duck was the... More

Excellent food, service, ambiance, just as we'd hoped for - no negative points whatsoever. Had the soup to start leek & potato sounds boring maybe - it wasn't! Followed by venison- OH had the scallops, followed by Barbary duck - we had a couple of veg sides too ...no room for desserts - pity they looked fab!

Beautiful food and excellent service. Couldn't personally fault any of the courses on the tasting menu. In keeping with most tasting menu prices for Michelin star.

The service is excellent and the wines offered were spot on and at a good price. We found our starters average but the main courses were spot on. It is good value for money with a very pleasant ambiance

We visited for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We both are a la carté. Had a Negroni and a Manhattan to start which were well mixed, followed by a decent bottle of South African white. Bread was average almost like from a supermarket, bit hard and didn't seem fresh compared to the amazing breads served in similar category restaurants in... More

We came on a TZoo voucher which was exceptional value for the quality of the food. All 3 courses were inventive and wonderfully cooked. I had steak for a main course and it was sublime. I was a little disappointed with my dessert but that was my poor choice and nothing to do with the quality of the cooking. Wine... More

Booked for dinner with my grown up children. We chose the £60 deluxe taster menu and it didn't disappoint. Would recommend Edmunds to anyone visiting Birmingham, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

This is clearly a first rate restaurant. I visited with 3 friends yesterday and we were all delighted with our various food choices. It is expensive but as always one gets what one pays for. Really worth a visit for that special occasion.
