Visited today for the first time whilst walking the Hatton locks. Really very happy with the fish & chips with minted peas and the fish stew with garlic ciabatta. The guest ale was thirst quenching.

Great range of beers, from around the world...!! A Busy Bank Holiday Monday confirmed what others had told us about The cape, excellent choices on menu, would question extra cost on gluten free options..and something to look at the state of the garden table and chairs...'seen better days'...(see photo). A touch of New Zealand, for anyone feeling homesick...

We went here for the first time to eat whilst family were visiting. There is a good vegetarian selection here for my family and the portions were of a decent size. I didn't like the fact that we had booked a table for 5 and they put us in a tiny corner squeezed in between three other tables with very... More

Beautiful little pub along the canal!I highly recommend the hand battered fish and chips (love the crushed mint peas) and try a local ale... More

As a previous review said this is warwick's best kept secret , don't be fooled by approach- charming canal side pub with good range of beers and excellent food at very reasonable price. We were a family of six aged from 6 months to 50 and all enjoyed, best roast chicken in years. Highly recommend especially on a summer afternoon... More

We moored alongside the pub for a couple of days in our Narrowboat Sulis & had evening meals on both days. What makes it special is the friendly kiwi service. We sat outside on the terrace & the glasses & ashtrays were regularly cleared & cleaned. The food was good, with hearty portions & the beers and in particular the... More
