Me & my new husband visited here last week when staying at Hotel Indigo which is just round the corner. When booking online we were asked if it was for a special occasion and I advised we were on our mini moon and just got...married one week previously, after being seated at our table 2 glasses of fizz were brought over as a congratulations, it was a very nice touch! (And actually the only place that week after visiting many places which actually acknowledged our celebration). From arrival to departure of the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and great menu. We had scallops, cooked to perfection, bbq chicken wings, lamb, prawn linguine and sticky toffee pudding and I couldn't have faulted any of it!!! We will defo be reccomending Loxleys and will hopefully visit again. A special thank you to Suzanne for looking after us during our meal.More

Absolutely superb food and wonderful attitude to customers. Our dinner was delicious from start to finish, including a beautiful whole seabass, a sumptuously splendid prawn linguine and an inventive, glorious take on an egg custard tart. We were treated so well by everyone and our...waitress Suzanne deserves every superlative for her friendly, efficient and generally marvellous service. Highly recommended.More

After a long morning wandering around Stratford we chanced upon this restaurant which turned out to be excellent. Service was excellent as was the food: Scallops for me followed by the Rib-eye-all, mouth wateringly good - highly recommended.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Rib of beef was lovely, all the trimmings. Wings for starter also very good. Service was brilliant by Sam, a real asset to the restaurant. Ambience and decoration where we ate on the first floor was great. Cant wait for our next...trip to Stratford as will be booking in again . Thanks LoxleysMore

This is our second visit in 6 weeks because it’s such amazing food. Scallops delicious but for my the dish of perfection is the lamb. The combination of flavours is just delicious. I literally think this is the best meal I’ve had for years.

Just enjoyed a wonderfully fun weekend in Stratford Upon Avon, which really is a great place to spend a few days, and Loxleys really did play it’s part in adding to the experience. Anyone who has been there, or lives in the area, will know...there are a huge amount of eateries within the town area so if you aren’t quality you aren’t there for long and this place is one of the best we have tried. We went there for an afternoon lunch and arrived around 2pm and I literally cannot fault our experience in any way - we even liked the bloody wallpaper! Our host John was friendly, engaging and clearly knew his job. Our waitress Tania was equally attentive and cheerful which just the right amount of interaction and engagement leaving us feeling looked after without being overbearing. The other staff were also all fully on their game being unfailingly courteous and professional, The atmosphere was perfect, subdued lighting and very relaxing decor, toilets clean and well looked after, and the whole place clean and well maintained, The champagne was very cold, which is a common and unforgivable sin in some restaurants, and likewise the Peroni. Our starters were both superb with my wife enjoying the Goats Cheese Panacotta and myself the wings with cheese dip. We then had the Rib Eye steak and Lamb for mains which were faultless and the only reason we didn’t have desserts (the choices look amazing) was because we needed to save space for more of the excellent wine! We then retired to the bar area where we went on to spend a further several hours finishing off a perfect afternoon. I really cannot recommend the place enough and when we return (which we will as Stratford is a superb weekend break) we will undoubtedly book this place for an encore. There is just too much on the menu we want to try and as I have said the overall experience is as good as any you will find in Stratford, Thanks to Tania, John and the staff for a great afternoon!More

During a weekend stay in Stratford, we decided that we would dine here on one of the evenings. We were asked all most straight away whether we would like water for the table, which we accepted. During ordering our mains we were asked what we...would like with our main dishes and options were given. The food was absolutely delicious but felt disappointed when the bill arrived and we had been charged £4 for water and £8 for sides that we thought were part of the main course. It obviously didn't break the bank but I do feel that it was offered in a way that gave the impression it was included and really wasn't needed as the size of the portions are substantial.More

Chateaubriand was ordered in advance so the table we were allocated was far too small for the plates that came. The restaurant was noisy and clearly overbooked. The chateaubriand was cooked well but the meat was stringy and well below the quality of other establishments....We will not be returning.More

My daughter booked a meal for the two of us to celebrate my birthday. She had mentioned when booking online that it was my birthday and on being shown to our table, there was a birthday card waiting for me! From the A La Carte...menu we chose Moules Mariniere and French Goats Cheese Pannacotta to start, Roasted Loin of Lamb & Slow Braised Shoulder and Hoi Sin Glazed Gressingham Duck Breast for our mains and a sharing platter desert from the ‘Specials’ menu for sweet. All our food was delicious. We shared a bottle of rosé and completed our meal with tea and coffee. A very pleasant atmosphere and the service was both efficient and very friendly.More

I suggest you call Loxleys and ask if you can book the bar for a couple of drinks. Mind you the food is delicious, so you could book the bar then have lunch or dinner afterwards? Hope I’ve helped
