With so many restaurants in Stratford to choose from, this really is the best. You may need to book as its so popular. Full of old fashioned forties atmosphere either a complete afternoon tea(the Novello tea on loaded cake stand) or cake, tea-cakes and sandwiches are available even Ovaltine!. Atmospheric period music accompany the experience and menu's disguised as ration... More

It was busy but we were well looked after and it was a great experience! Particularly like the free refill on cappuccino!

Popped in for tea and cake whilst we were in Stratford. The decor is fab. Loved the touch of individual timers for different tea brewing times. Cake was nice too.

Popped in here for a cup of tea and piece of cake on Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to get a table as it was really busy - clearly very popular as a couple of tables of ladies celebrating birthdays. The decor is really fun, a lot of thought has gone into the detail and to provide an authentic... More

Popped in here with my mum and sister after being recommended by a friend. It was so lovely to be in a cafe set back in time and everyone was talking and laughing. Best of all I didn't see one person on a phone or tablet it was lovely. I had an amazing cup of tea but I can't remember... More

A very good 40s proper tea room, atmosphere is great with excellent service. You have to wait as it was very busy but you get loose tea in an infuser ( built in the teapot ) and a 5minute timer so it is brewed correctly, old crockery and scones to die for. If you want you can go all the... More

My husband and I recently moved to Stratford-upon-Avon and whilst exploring the region, happened upon an endearing restaurant/tea-shop called the "Fourteas". What a wonderful walk down memory lane! The decor and theme of the restaurant is centered around the "forties". From the waitresses dressed in authentic period attire, to posters from the war and ration book menu's, the whole experience... Description
A 1940s themed Tea Room in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Come and join us in the 1940s and experience gorgeous loose leaf teas or a lovely cup of coffee accompanied by sandwiches on locally baked bread or try a cake or scone made daily on the premises by one of our bakers. No packet mixes or frozen products here. We also offer a gluten free cake each day and will do our best to help any other allergies too. The Fourteas is an experience not to be missed. The Fourteas has won the 2012 TouchFM Pride of Stratford Awards Town Outlet of the Year and has been selected by Jamie Oliver for his best 1000 Places To Eat In Britain app. We have recently moved to larger premises, but we are still only operating from one shop with no plans to expand to a chain yet!
