Visited pub for an evening meal and wasn't disappointed. Good wholesome English food, which was difficult to find in Stratford Upon Avon. Good atmosphere without music blaring out, also friendly staff and good service. Would definitely visit again if in Stratford.

A great English dinner in an unbeatable location. We loved eating our roasts and steak and ale pie in an almost 600 year old tavern.

Excellent lunch, quality roasts and veg. Very popular so you need to book ahead. This place is popular with locals - always a good sign! Reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

The menu selection was great. Well presented tasty food. The baked Camembert was great. Would recommend based on food. Ideally located in the town centre. My only comment would be that we weren’t able to get coffee at the end of the meal as the...More
