Me and my boyfriend love this restaurant, it's quite hidden compared to the other restaurants but definitely a great find! Very relaxed and calming atmosphere, the food is always lovely and it has more of an authentic feel than all the bigger Asian restaurants.

A trip to Newcastle means a trip to Hei Hei. The food here is delicious and on this occasion we ate here twice. The staff made us welcome both times. We had the early bird menu on the first evening and this was exceptional value for two courses. On the second trip we shared a mixed platter. The salt and... More

Being on the small side for a restaurant has nothing to do with tastes. This is a first class chinese restaurant with an excellent menu. We had to book a table for a saturday night &it was worth it. Apart from the food being very good the staff are always their to help.WELL DONE.

Called in on Saturday afternoon, the restaurant has a good atmosphere and there is plenty of room between the tables. The staff were vey polite and welcoming and left us alone to look through the menu, there was certainly plenty to choose from. We eventually chose one of the banquet meals and it was an excellent choice, the food was... More

was in town with friends while coming upon this restaurant. Definitely did not regret this as the authenticity of the Sichuan Chinese is well proven and also the ambience is comforting plus the waiters are well polite and made sure we thoroughly enjoy the evening. Will come back soon

Having heard lots of good reports about this place, I met a friend there this lunchtime for some grub and a natter. I certainly wasn't disappointed.
