Four of us had planned a nice relaxing afternoon of lots of good food and wine. Sadly this did NOT happen in this establishment. Firstly the table was tiny, and once our drinks came we had to put the condiments on the floor. We went...to order our starters and were told we had already had an hour of our allotted table time slot of 1:5 hrs !!!! What??? We had no notification before this and were mortified. The waiter was grumpy and edged towards rude. We decided enough was enough, paid for our drinks and left - a VERY unhappy group of non diners. I would NOT recommend this eat and run, fast food joint and will be sure to avoid it like the plague in the future.More

A place to enjoy.... No. We were clearly not wanted as customer from the minute we walked in. We had plan to have an afternoon of wine and good food. This is not a reataurent that accomodate more than 1.5 hour table. More like a...glorified fast food outlet than a restaurent. There is no advance notice to indicate there is " Limited time" table. Tables are unsuitable for group of 4 wanting to have the wine and food. We were not informed before we sat down and order drinks, that the table had a time limit. Being told when we wanted to order our starters that we already had an hour, was a complete surprise, considering they did not take our order. A very disappointing experiences, a place that would certainly not return and definitely not recommended.More

All restaurants fully booked or no tables until very late, Uno's was the only one that suggested they would fit us in if we came back within the hour even though it was very busy. True to their word, gave us a nice table at...the back. Food was quick, tasty and piping hot. Although at the end of evening the restaurant still had a nice homely anvionce. Will definitely use again when next in the areaMore

Haven’t been to Uno’s for far too long so when in town dropped in after reading reviews on TA. Was not disappointed! Excellent customer service accompanied really good food in a great atmosphere. Will be back sooner rather than later.

So pleased that we booked a table at this lovely restaurant for a bite to eat, during a Christmas shopping expedition. Staff provided excellent service throughout our visit and the food could not be faulted, with plenty of choice on the menu. This restaurant is...which sits in the shadow of one of my favourite sights, the iconic Tyne Bridge, is well worth a visit. Outstanding value for moneyMore

First ever time in Newcastle and wandering round the Quayside area looking for somewhere to have dinner. We dropped lucky at Unos - we were looking at the menu by the door when we were asked if we'd take a photo of a couple of...guys outside who then recommended it for it's good food. They weren't wrong! We both enjoyed our dish of choice which certainly showed the authenticity of Italy. Wonderful food, attentive, efficient and polite staff, and very reasonable prices. We would certainly dine there again and very happy to recommend it.More

We had a meal on a Saturday night the restaurant was very busy but this added to the ambiance and the service was very good despite being busy. My wife had a Pizza and said that it was one of the best she had ever...had, I tried it and it was superb the base was wonderfully light. I had the fillet steak in a Diane sauce it was cooke just right as I asked and it melted in your mouth with absolutely no fat, just fantastic. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We will be back next time we visit the city.More

Hi there sorry late getting back to you! Just read it. I'm not really sure if they do serve cocktails, they do serve hard liquor! The food is delicious though

I would have thought so the staff are lovely. Give them a ring but wouldn't have thought it a problem
