Sachins offer you good food especially if you want to try out Indian Mughlai Food. The ambiance is good.It is slightly over priced. one must go with reservations to save time.

Having visited this restaurant about two years ago and having a good experience, we visited again on a Wednesday evening. We had not booked, but were early diners, so were shown to a table straight away. we ordered poppadoms and pickle to start which were ok. For mains, we ordered Chicken Balti Bhuna and a Lamb Balti. When they arrived,... More

First time I've been here for a lot of years, its obviously popular as it was extremely busy on a Saturday night, got a table no problem even though we left it to the last minute as we were stopping at the crowne plaza nearby we couldn't be bothered to go very far. Plenty of attentive helpful staff, food was... More

Situated close to our hotel on the quays. Good ambiance; a great welcome by staff who were very attentive throughout the evening. Food delicious; had a four course meal and enjoyed it all. Good value for money. Will visit again when in the area. If you are visiting the Arena, it's a short walk away.

I used to visit Sachins regularly when I worked in Newcastle but, after retiring four years ago, I hadn't been until yesterday. I'm so glad I returned. Not only did one of the waiters recognise me after all that time but the food was as good as I remembered. However, if you are looking for typical tandoori takeaway fare of... More

Reasonably priced and good service . Curry was superb. Rich and complex. Best we have ever had. Meat you could cut with a fork. Brilliant

We heard a lot about sachin's so we unfortunately decided to have a go and when the food arrived it was absolutely rubbish. This is the same kind of food available in supermarket. The only difference was the price. Supermarket charges you £2.50 per bottle they rip you off for £13 per dish. Disgusting.

The food is unique and so very very tasty. The service actually cares about how much you enjoy the experience (that you enjoy is inevitable). The Jalfrezi is outstanding and so very very hot - but so very very good. Listen to the waiting staff - they want you to have an explosive experience like me. Utterly fantastic, one of... More

High quality food. Really intense use of fresh spices. A place for real curry foodies. Service can be a bit on the slow side but they are charming and helpful.

We ate at sachins after hearing fantastic reviews what a disappointment the service was great nice atmosphere but I left the restaurant hungry ! The starters were lovely but my main course and my friends were so spicy hot that we both left our meals even when ordering I asked for a mild dish when we complained we were given... More
