The prices are good, especially if you get one of the black discount bands from the guys outside selling them. You get free entry to lots of other bars, and money off. Cocktails, beer and food was great. Good party atmosphere to set you up for a night on the Toon!

Came in from the train station as it was one of the first places we saw for a quick cheap meal. Unfortunately you get what you pay for. Had the Philly steak ciabatta and it had zero taste, my mum had a tuna ciabatta and it was ok a little better. Drinks are cheap but I would probably just have... More

Came in on a trip to Newcastle to watch the rugby. Good atmosphere and Sacha the barmaid really looked after us. The service was was better than most we've experienced before in a pub like this. Will definitely be back when in town.

After a great evening eating at Carluccio's and a few drinks in Harry's Bar we decided as we walked down Grainger Street to try out Yates for a late night nightcap. Only came in here for a drink or two but only had the one. The place is kinda run down and the toilets stink. It seems to be a rowdy place and there were some young guys making a lot of noise which went unchecked.
