I popped in to Pink Lane on my way to a training course in central Newcastle. I'd visited before on a family trip from Leeds and we'd enjoyed a coffee and cake. This time I was desperate for some good old fashioned tea and toast...More

No bread for toast at 930am, No brown sugar for the coffee (pop to tesco?) arrogant staff who try to tell my partner they don't make cappuccino the way he likes it. Love Independent cafes but this one thinks it's better than it is... Btw...More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your visit to our cafe. I would like to address some of the points in your review. The day you visited coincided with the rugby world cup in Newcastle and was the busiest day we have had. This...More

Great spot for lunch. Quirky furniture might not be to everyone's taste but the coffee and grub have enough quality to keep customers coming back. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent coffee a very short walk from Newcastle Station. Stylish shabby chic decor compliments artisanal high quality coffee and good cake! Good service and free wifi. Happy camper.

Really interesting decor, passionate staff and by far the best 'proper' coffee in Newcastle. Can't get a large size coffee which is a shame but the quality is 100%. Great brew, flavour and taste.

After reading reviews thought I would give this place a try. The furnishings were in very poor condition and most looked as they had been rescued from a skip. Coffee, while flavourful, was lukewarm. In my humble opinion, give it a miss

We'd always prefer to support an independent coffee shop and we were incredibly happy to go to Pink Lane. The coffee was delicious and we would definitely go back. The service was great and very informative.

Had a very nice Guatemala latte, although seemed a small glass in comparison to other independent coffee shops. Friend was disappointed to find they did not serve any flavoured syrups. Not really any sensible seating for parties of more then 2, which was annoying for...More

I was so looking forward to Pink Lane Coffee after a friend recommended it and I'm visiting from the States. I learned they just closed and I was so bummed and sorely disappointed. The kind barista offered to make us coffee to go and then...More

Having read the reviews thought we would give it a try and wish we hadn't. The coffee, although it did taste good, was only luke warm and the cup size was too small. The only saving grace were the cakes which were very nice but...More

I think perfect. It is opposite the station if you are travelling. It's cool and laid back. The breakfast choices aren't necessarily your traditional breakfast but they looked very tasty. Great pastry selection also

Hi. Sorry, but I've just seen this and I'm afraid I don't know if they sell beer.

There are two small stairs in the front of the shop but the staff has a ramp that they can easily put down if necessary :)
